Made this card for a Stamplorations 'Theme and Photo' Challenge whose theme is 'Stamps & Tropical' .....
I thought that Flamingos were very tropical so made this card.....
I started with a white 6 x 6 inch white cardblank. I cut a smaller matt in yellow spotty paper and mounted this onto black card to make a border.
The main image (Great Impressions) was stamped on white card in Memento black ink. It was coloured with pink and blue Posca pens. It was edged in blue Versamagic chalk ink and matted on black card. The spotty matt was applied to the card front and the Flamingos mounted off centre on foam pads on the card.
I made a background with Distress Oxides in greens & yellow on white card and die-cut a number of open leaves from this. The leaves were then arranged as shown and embellished with some pink sequins.
I cut some Washi tape with the words 'Let's Flamingle' and mounted this onto white card applying on foam pads as shown to finish the card.... Ohhh how I long to be on holiday in a Tropical place at the moment ... think I have no choice but to wait though !!!

What a wonderful result Sid - love those leaves framing the fabulous flamingos! A tropical retreat sounds wonderful, but not the travel too and fro with the current bug(s) about!
