Dreams .....

Here is a mailart postcard made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ........

The background (6 x 4) is made with spray inks on white card and I have used a set of PaperArtsy stamps with Distress Oxides to make the design. The words were stamped in black Archival ink. Some Posca pen in yellow and white was added.

The background has been mounted on greyboard for strength and edged with Krylon gold pen. It will travel to it's new owner naked through the post so I have teated with matt acrylic sealer to protect from the rigours of the postal service ......

A Binocular wishes card .... definitely in an orange and yellow phase at the moment .....

I then stamped the binoculars (Aall & Create) in Archival black onto the wood effect paper and again on white card in Versafine black.... this was heat embossed with clear embossing powder and trimmed out. The binoculars were treated with liquid chrome metallic pen from Molotow.

I die-cut the daisies and centred each with a yellow sparkly cabochon and coloured a strip of watercolour card from the spine of a watercolour pad.

I then layered the matts and applied to the card base. I added some orange Posca pen lines to the base.

The binoculars ( on foam pads) the watercolour strip and daisies were then applied to the card as shown.

The card was finished with a sentiment stamped on white card and die-cut to finish ....

Trilbys ........

Made a card using the 'Trilby Cats' stamp and sentiment from Crafty Individuals ........

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and cut a matt from black card which was die-cut with a stitched oval die. This was backed with some 'Wonderfully Weathered' background paper. a piece of the paper was also stuck to card and three stitched edge stars die-cut from this. The black oval was then matted on pale blue and green card to frame.

The main image was stamped in Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, the cats were trimmed from the background and coloured with green and turquoise Posca pens with some small green adhesive gems added to highlight. I wanted to keep them almost monochrome. I also added some white posca to the cats eyes !

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black on a white die-cut label and heat embossed. The cats were grounded on AAll & Create Washi tape and added on foam pads along with the sentiment and stars.

The matt was then added to the card base to finish the card .....
