Bought a new butterfly die so decided to make a Clean and Simple (CAS) card using it....
I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and cut a smaller matt from white card. I then drew a black curved line onto the matt with Micron Pen and stamped this with leaf stamps, outline/inlay from Stamplorations in brown ink. Choosing contrasting inks for the inlay and outline using the black line as a guide.
I then took my die (MemoryBox) and cut three butterflies, one on plain bookpaper, one on old printed bookpaper and one on a piece of pink paper I handmade with pulp. These were positioned and stuck in place. Each butterfly had two small brown adhesive gems applied on the bodies.
The 'Happy Birthday' (Happy Little Stampers) was stamped direct onto the matt in Versafine black ink and the matt applied to the card blank on foam pads.
I would like to enter this into the Stamplorations CAS card Challenge for May
also into the Never Ending Challenge in Stamplorations
