Boots .....

Made a simple card ....

I started with a 4 x 4 inch white card blank and cut a white card matt and a slightly larger brown Kraft matt.

I stamped the footprints on the white matt in Versafine black ink and mounted this onto the Kraft matt. The boots were stamped in Versafine black on white card and coloured with watercolour brushpens before trimming out. The sentiment was also stamped in Versafine black on white card, trimmed out and matted on Kraft card to leave a border. All stamps from Art Journey.

The matts were stuck in place on the white card blank and a squiggly line made on the Kraft in black micron pen. The sentiment and boots were added on foam pads and some Glossy Accents were added on the laces and OO's to highlight and finish the card ...

Great card for a man .....

  2. Doc Martens first came onto the scene in early1960 and were the footwear of choice for the working class. Policemen, postal and factory workers all enjoyed the comfort and durability of these sturdy boots that sported an air-cushioned sole. TOp Work Boots for Asphalt Paving
