This one was on a Gelli Plate background in pink and orange and was on a base of re-cycled packaging. I stamped a butterfly twice with Versamark ink, one on the base and one on some yellow card. Heat embossing with a yellow glitter embossing powder. The one on yellow card was trimmed out and coloured with a pink pen. I then stamped a number of the same butterfly on the base in Versafine black ink.

The butterfly was applied on foam pads to raise the wings. The words (Crafty Individuals) were stamped in more Versamark black, trimmed out and applied as shown. The coin was edged in yellow Versamagic chalk ink to finish .....

I then stamped some open and closed leaves in more Twisted Citron ink.

I then applied a strip of green Washi tape as shown and stamped a brown twig top right. The background was then matted on yellow and dark green card.

I then stamped the daffodils, nest and words in black Versafine ink on white card .... heat embossing all with clear embossing powder. The nest and daffodils were coloured with watercolours and trimmed out. The nest was applied on foam pads and the daffodils directly to the background over the Washi tape.

Cuppa ......

We all love a cuppa ... don't we ?

Made this card on a white A6 card base ....... I stamped the cups (Crafty Individuals CI - 547) twice in Versafine black in and heat embossed both the images with fine detail clear embossing powder.

The first was trimmed out as the base. I then fussy cut the three tea-cups from the other image, handles cut out with a scalpel.

These were then watercoloured with Distress Ink washed in Victorian Velvet, Shabby Shutters, Broken China & Dusty Concord. One of the handles was coloured gold with a metallic pen. I left the tea-bag tag uncoloured on purpose. Once dry I applied Glossy Accents on each of the cups.

I then coloured a surround for the background and sentiment with the same colours. I then applied the plain image on the surround and applied the cups on foam pads. The background and surround were applied to the card base along with the sentiment which was stamped in more Versafine black ink and backed with the same coloured frame on foam pads.....

Unreal .....

Made a rather mad postcard for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I used re-cycled packaging for the base and also made a blue Gelli print for the background. I applied some die-cut flowers at the top kindly given to me by one of the Forum members (stamping with black Versafine ink and heat embossing some elements with clear embossing powder).

I added some background dotty stamping in green and blue Distress inks and drew in the stems and leaves for the flowers with black Posca pen adding some AAll & Create Washi tape words and a sticker from Tim Holtz, edging the card with blue Versamagic Chalk ink to finish.

I sprayed with matt acrylic lacquer to seal for travel through the post to its recipient ....

Shabby ......

Made a decorated tag for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I started with a tag blank and covered this with some printed paper which I stamped with a leaf stamp with Versamark in and heat embossed this with green pearl embossing powder. I crinkled the tag and added some smooshed of picket fence distress stain which added a chalky finish .....

Next I took some old bookpaper and used the tattered florals die from Tim Holts and cut some flowers & leaves. These were then sprayed with coloured Mica sprays and allowed to dry. I then stamped with a check stamp and sepia Archival Ink. I then assembled the flowers in loose layers.

The tag was edged with green chalk ink and an eyelet added with the crop-a-dile. I then added the flowers & leaves allowing them to be loose around the edges and centred with a green sparkly cabochon.

I then stamped the sentiment coloured with bundled sage Distress ink and applied as shown. I threaded some natural jute string through the eyelet to finish the tag.

Really enjoyed using the die after a long time in a draw ......

Heart ......

Made a set of Artist Trading Cards for a monthly themed heart swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I made the backgrounds on white card cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches and with Distress Oxides in blue, amber and pink smooshed with water and allowed to dry.

I then die-cut the large and small hearts and again used pink Distress Oxide on these. On the large hearts I stamped with an AAll & Create background stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed pink pearl embossing powder. I then wrapped each heart in dark pink craft wire and added a pale pink pearl cabochon.

I then used the same stamp and stamped in pink Distress Oxide onto the backgrounds, drying with the heat gun.

The backgrounds were then applied onto re-cycled card from packaging to add a bit of strength to the cards and they were edged with pink Versamagic chalk ink.

The sentiment was stamped in pink Archival ink on white card. The cards were then assembled by applying the large hearts on foam pads and the rest direct to the card.

Green .....

Decided to make a wrapped journal using a Sizzix Die designed by Eileen Hull .....

I cut out the cover from greyboard and two covers for the signatures from card, also lined paper for the signature inserts .....

I then painted the folding spines green on the outside and orange on the inside with paints made from Distress Oxide ink and water in Spiced Marmalade and Rustic Wilderness.

I then cut a number of panels to fit the inside and outside space on the journal. I used a busy leaf design for the outside and a distressed green for the inside, applying these with wet glue and red-line tape.

All outside edges of the journal were heat embossed with dark green embossing powder applied with Versamark ink.

I die-cut some floral elements for the front from white card and backed this with some orange card applying as shown. Decorating with some gold dimensional pearls and adding a green sticker.

I made a patterned pocket for inside the front cover and decorated this with a polymer flower and 'paper doll'. The tag was made from more printed paper and stamped with an Indigo Blu stamp, adding a sticker, eyelet and green organza ribbon.

Next I threaded the support for the two signatures using silver covered round elastic. There are enough supports for 4 signatures but I only made 2. The covers were painted with orange acrylic paint and the inside pages made from lined notepaper. The covers were decorated with various floral and leaf elements along with more green word stickers.

I made a pocket from covered card to go on the inside back panel decorating with an orange polymer flower.

The inside of the front flap was stamped with another Indigo Blu stamp and another 'paper doll' was added with another green sticker.

I made a closure with two strong magnets to hold the journal closed, adding with hot glue. I then added the enamel letter spelling 'Journal' on the front flap.

Final addition was to tie a piece of colour co-ordinated sari ribbon around the spine. I also added some homemade beads to the loose ends of the ribbon......

Really enjoyed making this ......

Love .....

Made a set of Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum and as it's February with Valentines Day on the way thought this design to be appropriate .....

I used some Kraft micro-corrugated cardboard as the base and cut out the coins from this with a die to 2.5 inches diameter ... I treated them with a light coating of barn door Distress Oxide and fixed this with a heat gun.

The hearts (Chocolate Baroque) were stamped in Versamark ink on red card and then heat embossed with white fine embossing enamel before trimming out.

I then edged the coins with the same white embossing powder, applying the hearts and adding a red metallic swirly brad and a Dymo word 'LOVE) to finish .....
