Flowers ....

A mailart postcard made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum ....

Made on 6 x 4 fuschia coloured card, stamped with Versamark and heat embossed with white embossing powder.  Die-cut Wildflowers (with a Distress Oxide Ink background) added over the text, Washi tape & sentiment stamped in Versafine black and finished with white Posca pen.  Some Brilliance gold ink added to edge and highlight with a quick spray with Acrylic sealant to protect whilst in transit through the postal system !

Dragonfly .....

We are running a monthly Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum to use a circulating stamp from each person in a make ..... this one is mine using a members stamp ! Decided to make a tag !

I started by inking the stamp with Versamark ink and used black embossing powder to heat emboss the design onto white card.  This was then coloured using Distress Oxide inks (the embossing resisting the ink).

This was trimmed out and matted onto a piece of iridescent foiled paper which was subsequently matted onto black card.

The die-cut dragonfly has been cut from more foiled paper and applied with pearl brads over the image. I used a piece of gold foiled Washi tape saying 'Hi There'.

Finishing touch was to add a piece of folded silver ribbon secured with a red staple.

Urban .....

I made this tag for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I used a black textured card background cut to size and started by stamping with Versamark  & heat embossing with some Jasper powder which has a gold/brown colourway.

I then added a number of strips of Washi tape and splattered with white acrylic paint.

The main house images are by Teesha Moore, stamped in Memento black trimmed out and coloured with Copic markers .... wanted to add a bit of colour so went with Pink.  The houses were matted onto silver foil card and trimmed out before adding on foam pads.

The tag was edged with yellow Versamagic chalk ink and a fine line added with yellow Posca marker. A hole was punched and a silver eyelet added with the Crop-a-dile and this was threaded through with some silver and pink velvet ribbon to finish.

Everlasting ....

Made an Artist Trading Coin using a stamp and tissue paper sent by a friend with her swaps ....

I die-cut a 2.5 inch circle of re-cycled packaging and applied a circle of the spotty tissue with matte medium.  Once dry stamped this with the stamp in Archival Black ink. I applied some blue Posca and Gold Leaf pen to decorate.

The heart and arrow was die-cut from Kraft card. The heart was coloured with red Brilliance ink which has been treated with Glossy Accents. This was stuck in place and the coin was edged in gold to finish !

Women ......

Wanted to make a set of ATC's in the theme of 'Women' for the swap over on UK Stampers Forum so decidied on a vintage look.

The backgrounds were made with distress ink on paper which was applied to a background of re-cycled corrugated board.  The images are Tim Holtz paper dolls which I have coloured with Copic markers. Once applied some grey Copic was added to provide shadows for the ladies.  I stamped swirls on the left hand side of each ATC in Versafine black ink.

The words are printed and coloured with a black edge.  Each ATC has been edged with Versamagic chalk ink to finish !

Artist Trading Coins .....

Each month we have a postal swap of Artist Trading Coins (2.5 inch diameter circles of your artwork) where you make three Coins and they are randomly swapped for three coins made by other arty people.

Here is a picture of all the coins before they were swapped and sent out this month !  How marvellous to see all that creativity and colour all in one place.

Daisy...Daisy ....

Just finished making a set of Inchies for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ... these are in a floral theme.

The background is punched out of a Distress Oxide background using a 1 x 1 inch punch and mounted on re-cycled card from a cereal box for strength.

I have used various stamps with Memento & Versafine inks to add alpha and floral images, in a green, mauve and blue colourway whilst colouring the daisy centres with gold pen.

The Inchies have been edged with blue Versamagic chalk ink to finish.

Shimmer .....

A set of Artist Trading Coins made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases are die-cut from recycled card packaging and measure 2.5 inches in diameter.  I have covered the base in a metallic shimmer foil which has been stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  I have also added some square sequins around the clock dial.
