Shrooms .......

Have a very Happy New Years Eve Everybody ......

Made a postcard for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ...... this is the last swap of 2020 ....

I used a piece of re-cycled card packaging as the base and used a resist technique and stencil to make this. I then stamped the main image (AAll & Create) in Archival sepia ink. I then watercoloured the two fungi. I also stamped the 'Toadstool' word on kraft card in Versafine black ink and trimmed this out.

I then added some stamping in various colours of Distress Oxide ink, penwork with gold and Posca pens, Washi tape. Some circles have been added through a stencil, edged with Inktense pencil and shaded with a waterbrush.

I then added the 'Paper Doll' vintage image, the 'Toadstool' word and sepia Glossy Accents. The card was edged with pink Versamagic chalk ink.

I then sprayed the card with matt acrylic sealer as it will travel 'naked' through the post to its recipient.....

The base is a 5 x 7 inch white card blank. I used some printed paper as the background and stamped with numbers and crosses with Distress Oxide inks in green, blue and brown. Adding some brads and gold lines with a pen.

The main image (Tim Holtz) was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was then trimmed out and applied on foam pads as shown. The sentiment was stamped on word paper and trimmed before adding.

The background was matted on black and gold cards before applying to the card base ......

Cheers .....

Getting nearer to Christmas so made an ATC, using some papers and die-cuts very kindly given to me as a little Christmas gift .......

I used a piece of brown corrugated card which I distressed by removing one of the outer layers. I then applied some white gesso with a wet wipe and then added a little Stickles glitter glue rubbed out over the surface to provide a little shine. Next I applied some white chunky embossing powder and heat set with the heat gun.

I chose a pink reindeer on some paper and trimmed to fit, edged with pink Versamagic chalk ink. I then tied around in a bow some glittery thread as shown.

The glitter snowflake and interference blue swirl were added at the top and the die-cut 'Cheers' was cut from black card and applied as shown. The ATC was finished by edging with brown Versamagic chalk ink ......

Noel ......

Made this card ages ago .......

It consists of a white card blank with a shaped flap which covers a round-edged panel with three pieces of printed papers.

The central panel was die-cut from white card with a dot-edged circle. The background was blended with cut 'n dry foam and Distress Ink through a mask to produce a grey background.

The twigs and robin were stamped in black Memento ink on white smooth card and die-cut. The die-cuts were coloured with Copic markers. The twig was decorated with crystal Stickles and red berries covered in Glossy Accents. The twigs were stuck in place on the rounds and the robin applied on foam pads.

The Noel was die-cut from red glitter card and applied to the round. Once complete this was attached over the flap as shown.

I then tied some red/white twine around the top and attached a metal snowflake charm to finish .....

Merry ......

I had this maroon deep box that had been used as food packaging.... to good to waste so I used it to make a Christmas decorative box ....

It measure 6 x 9 x 2 inches. I used a piece of Gelli print I had made with acrylic paints in blue and pink as the base.

This was decorated with some die-cut garlands in silver glitter and Kraft card. The Kraft layer was adhered to the base and the silver glitter layer on foam pads to raise it. I then added some gold glitter stars. I then added some 'snow' on the background which was chunky embossing powder and melted it from behind with a heat gun. Three metal enamelled bows were added to the garlands with hot melt glue.

Next I die-cut two deer in more Kraft card and the antlers in gold glitter card. I added black to their eyes and red to their noses. They were applied in the centre of the garlands as shown.

The words were die-cut from black card and stuck in place. The background was then attached to the inside of the box. the frame was edged in gold glitter Washi tape and a number of glitter stars and sequins added to finish the box ......

Z - Fold ........

A Z-Fold Christmas card made for a Challenge on UK Stampers Forum ....... there are some fab prizes and it's free to enter .......

I made the card-base from a piece of green 12 x 12 inch cardstock which was cut in half. I then measured 2.5 inches up from the bottom of the 6 inch side of the card and made a mark with a pencil.. I then trimmed from the top left corner down to the mark and trimmed a triangle of the card. I then scored along the 12 inches side at 4 inch intervals folding the scored triangle into the card shape.

Next I used a Martha Stewart snowflake die and die-cut along the top of the card, adding dots of crystal Stickles at the centre of each snowflake.

I then cut three pieces from Stampin' Up 6 x 6 inch papers and flocked vellum, edged with green Versamagic chalk ink, and applied on the front of each panel. I added red Stickles to the centres of the flocked poinsettia vellum.

I stamped some holly leaves and berries in green and red Memento inks and trimmed out, applying Glossy Accents to the berries. I also stamped the sentiment on white card with Versamark ink and heat embossed this with red/gold mica embossing powder and trimmed this out. Three small clear gems were added, two on the front panel and one on the sentiment.

I then added the holly & berries and the sentiment as shown. The card will fit an A6 (6 x 4 inch) envelope ......
