An Artist Trading Coin made to to rade or swap .....

I started with a die-cut circle of re-cycled packaging and covered this with some black leather texture card. I added sone diamonds through a stencil with texture paste and edged these with some gold Posca pen.

I stamped some numbers and letters in gold Brilliance ink and added a die-cut swirl which had been coloured with watercolours.

The Coin was edged in gold Krylon along with a piece of Washi tape and a word to finish ... anyone like to trade with me please email me .... link in sidebar of the blog !

Poem .....

An Artist Trading Coin made to swap or trade .....

I used a die-cut circle of re-cycled food packaging and covered with a piece of Gelli printed paper made with a stencil and Distress Oxide washes. this was treated with some Acrylograph pens and a printed sentiment was added and edged with black Micron pen.

The butterfly (My Favourite Things) was stamped and diecut and appled as shown onto the coin to finish ..... If anyone would like to trade this coin please email me ..... link in sidebar ....

Pheasant ......

A mailart postcard made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

I used a piece of background card made using Brusho powders. This was trimmed to size and stamped directly in Versamark ink the pheasant (AAll & Create) which was heat embossed with white embossing powder and was coloured with Acrylograph pens and edged with black Micron pen.

I then stamped the word (AAll & Create) directly on the card in Versafine black ink. I added some gold lines with Posca pen and also grounded the pheasant image. Some gold spatters were also added. The card was edged with black soot Distress Oxide and was then matted onto a piece of white card to add a border.

The postcard was then sprayed with matte acrylic sealer to protect it through the post as it will travel 'naked' through the mail ......

Cats .....

Made a card with fun and quirky cat stamps of Syd & Albert from Crafty Individuals .....

I stamped the main image twice on white card with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

One whole image was cut out and I fussy cut the two cats which were coloured with Distress oxide washes and a waterbrush, gold spots were added to one cat ...... I added white eyes with a Posca pen and covered the eyes and the eyepatch with Glossy Accents.

The purple cat was applied directly to the main image and the stripey cat was applied on foam pads covering the original image. Some more white penwork was added.

This was then applied to a white card blank. The sentiment was stamped on a die-cut piece of black card in Versamark ink and was heat embossed with Wow white embossing powder.

The sentiment was added on foam pads as shown to finish the card ....

Beauty ......

Made a card with All & Create stamps & Washi tape .....

I used a white card base and die-cut a white matt with a stitched edge which was applied to the card base. I then die cut another smaller piece and used Shabby Shutters and Walnut Stain Distress inks in a wash on this.

I then stamped the leaves (AAll & Create) twice in Versafine black ..... once on the smaller matt and once on a piece of white card. Both were theat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then fussy cut out the leaves and coloured them with Distress Ink washes and Glossy Accents before applying over the original stamped image on foam pads. Two pieces of torn Washi Tape (AAll & Create) were applied along with 4 little decorative leaves on Glossy Accents. This plate was then matted on black card to form a border.

The printed quote was trimmed and matted on lime and black cards and applied on foam pads as shown under the main plate which was also mounted on foam pads to finish the card ......

Love .....

Made an ATC on a re-cycled corrugated cardboard base .....

The cardboard was trimmed to 2.5 x 3.5 inches and covered with a torn piece of Gelli print. This was decorated further with gold pen and white posca pen. The card was edged with Green Versamagic chalk ink and black posca Pen.

The hearts and word (AAll & Create) were stamped in Vesafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and decorating with watercolours, gellyroll pens and adhesive gems.

The hearts and word were attached (one on foam pads) and two pieces of torn Washi tape added to finish ......

Heart ......

Made a very bright tag today using stamps from AAll & Create .....

The background was made on the Gelli Plate using acrylic paints and various mark making tools .... this was trimmed to size. I then stamped the heart with Versafine black ink on more Gelli printed paper, trimmed this out and applied as shown. I edged the heart with black Inktense pencil and a waterbrush.

The word was stamped in more Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed out and applied on foam pads.

I then added some white lines with a Posca pen and some numbers from some AAll & Create Washi tape .... I punched a hole and applied a black eyelet with the Crop-a-Dile nd threaded through with some black Grossgrain ribbon and added some pink and black sequins on Glossy Accents to finish ....

Made a card using stamps from Lynne Perrella (PaperArtsy) ......

The card base is white and 6 x 6 inches square. I cut a smaller square from more white card and stamped this with a decorative edge stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossing this with black embossing powder . The white was then matted on black card to form a border.

The main image was stamped on white card with Versafine black ink and this was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was fussy cut out and coloured with watercolours and artquest mica paints. I used Glossy Accents on the ladies cheeks .....

This was then applied on the plate with foam pads. The word was also stamped in Versafine black ink on white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder, matted on black card and again applied on foam pads.

The plate was attached to the card front and three black sequins added with Glossy Accents to finish the card ......

Hello ......

Made a card with mainly die-cuts today ....

The black circle was die-cut and decorated using a Gelli plate print with bubble wrap .... it was edged in orange Versamagic Chalk ink. I then die-cut some flowers and the word from some printed paper.

The flowers were assembled and finished with an orange adhesive gem intheir centres. I added a piece of torn Washi tape and stuck the work in place (edging with white Posca pen). The butterfly (My Favourite Things) was stamped and die-cut and applied as shown.

The circle was mouted on a square mat of orange card and subsequently on black card to form a border. The panel was then applied on foam pads to the 6 x 6 inch white card base to finish ......

Arch ......

This Gothic Arch Triptych has been made for a Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The base material is waste food packaging cut to shape using a template and attaching the two sides with adhesive tape at the back. The wings allow for the Triptych to stand for display .....

I have cut some printed weathered wood paper (Crafty Individuals) to shape and applied over the base card. I added some strips of Washi tape on each panel.

I then selected some Lynne Perrella stamps (PaperArtsy), stamped them with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. These were trimmed out and watercoloured with Distress Inks with a waterbrush along with some gold penwork.

The three panels were applied as shown and the three rosettes  on foam pads. I then decorated further with some white Posca lines and black sparkly gems to finish ......

Heartfelt .....

No-one wants to need a card like this but sometimes we have to make one ......

I die-cut a circle from black card and drew the design by hand with Acrylograph pens. I made a frame from brown Kraft card and die-cut a larger circle and mounted this on more black card. This was then applied to the 6 x 6 inch white card blank and some more drawing made in each corner.

The central circle was then applied on foam pads. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed and applied centrally on foam pads as shown ........

Seize .....

An Artist Trading Coin made to swap .....

I used re-cycled packaging and die-cut the base covering with some pearlised textured card. I applied texture paste through a diamond stencil and when dry  was then treated with embossing powder and heated to melt.

The butterfly was stamped with Versafine black ink and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder and coloured with Acrylograph pens.

The butterfly was applied with glue and foam pads and the coin edged with blue Versamagic chalk ink.

The printed words were edged in black and applied as shown .....

Diamonds .....

 Made a clean & simple card for the Less Is More Challenge this month ........

This has to be a one-layer card so I used a foam diamond stamp with three shades of Impress dye ink and stamped direct to the card as shown, edging each stamped diamond with a black Posca pen.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink to finish ......

Happy .....

A cheerful 'Happy Day' clean & simple card .....

I used a 5 x 7 inch white card blank as the base and cut a smaller matt from white card which was matted on black card to leave a thin border.

The butterflies (My Favourite Things) were stamped layered and die-cut in three colourways with Impress, Archival and Versafine black inks. I then die-cut three leafy circles in matching pastel colours to frame the butterflies. These were applied 'off the page' and the butterflies were applied with their wings & antenna shaped for a 3D effect.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink and matted on black card being applied on foam pads. Finally the background was applied to the card blank to finish the card .....

King......

Here is a card made with a striking animal stamp from Crafty Individuals ....

I started by die-cutting a square frame from some of the Crafty Individuals 'Wonderfully Weathered' printed paper and attached this to a piece of white card to the same size. 

I then stamped the lion image twice on white card .... first with Versafine black ink, which I heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The second image was stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with metallic gold embossing powder. I trimmed out the lions face from the black embossed card and fussy cut the whole image from the gold embossed image.

I then coloured both face and mane with watercolours made from Distress Inks and a waterbrush. I used mainly orange and yellow on the mane and antique linen and orange on the face with some blue on the eyes along with a white dot with a Posca marker.

I stamped the KING in black Versafine on white card and trimmed out before edging in black.

The card was assembled with each layer on foam pads to finish ......

Stripes .....

Made a cute & fun Clean & Simple Card ....

I used an A6 white card blank as the base .... I then die-cut some white card as shown with a wavy stitched edge die and applied to the card on foam pads. I added some tufts of grass with a green Posca pen. 

The Zebra and sentiment (My Favourite Things) were stamped on white card in black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The Zebra was trimmed out and minimally coloured with Poscas. He was added on foam pads and 'grounded' with Inktense charcoal grey pencil and a water brush.

Two butterflies were stamped direct to the card base and again coloured with a pink Posca pen. The words were edged with black and applied on foam pads to finish .....

Just .......

A little clean and simple Butterfly 'Just For You' card ....

Made on a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I die-cit a stitched edge square from white card then die-cut a round Gelli print background and some gold glitter card which were layered as shown. this was then applied to the white die-cut square ....

The butterfly was stamped in pink Memento Ink, heat embossed with gold embossing powder and black Versafine before being die-cut out and applied centrally to the circles.

The square was then applied to the card on foam pads.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black, edged in gold glitter card and applied as shown ....

Provence ....

Wanted to make something using the typical colours of Provence in France ......

I used a tag base and applied mustard Impress dye ink with a blending tool. I then stamped this with Broken China Distress Oxide using an AAll & Create stamp. I then stamped again on white card with more of the same ink and trimmed out the three crosses which were edged with black ink. I also stamped some star circles in blue and yellow Versafine Clair inks.

I then die-cut two sets of bubbles , one in yellow and one in blues. These were then applied to the tag. Some were filled in with Posca pen. I then stamped the sentiment in blue Versafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. edging with Posca pen. I then applied three gold star sequins.

The three crosses were the applied on foam pads over the base image and some turquoise satin ribbon tied through the hole in the tag to finish .....

Dreams .....

Made a card with some decorated butterflies ......

I used a 6 x 6 inch white card base .......

I then matted a piece of Gelli print for the background and stamped this with some scribbly circles in Archival sepia ink and some leaves in two shades of Distress Oxide inks.

The butterflies were stamped on white card with Verafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, these were die-cut and decorated with Acrylograph pens. The background was matted on pale blue and black cards then applied to the card front.  I added a couple of strips of AAll & Create Washi tape before mounting the butterflies as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in warm breeze Versafine clair on white card again heat embossing with clear powder and mounting/trimming on more blue card. They were added on foam pads to finish the card ......

Special ......

A Special Day Card made recently ......

I used a white 6 x 6 inch white card blank as the base. I then die-cut a white frame and a brown craft base.

The garland was die-cut from white card and coloured with Posca pens. The garland was decorated with adhesive pearls and small crystal with detail added with a white Posca pen. This was then applied to the Kraft inner layer and this was then applied to the card front as shown. The white frame being added on foam pads.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink and die-cut with a round stitched edge die. and applied centrally on foam pads to finish .......

Seaside .....

A set of three 'S' themed Artist Trading Cards made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases are made from re-cycled food packaging and the backgrounds are made using Brushos. I have applied Washi Tape, stamping with letters in Versafine black, Memento blue and Archival sepia inks, decorating with Acrylograph pen ...

The main letters are die-cut from chipboard and heat embossed with green opalescent embossing powder. They have been added to the cards at the end.

Each card was edged with Versamagic turquoise chalk ink to finish ......

Superstar ....

Made a little clean & simple monochrome card today .....

I used a 4 x 4 inch white card base and die-cut a stitched edge star from more white card. this was matted onto black card and trimmed to form a border.

The star was attached to the card front with foam pads. I then layed some strips of black and white Washi tape (AAll & Create) on more white card and die-cut a number of smaller stars which were added as shown.

The sentiment was cut from a word plate from Crafty Individuals, matted on black and attached to the centre of the star to finish .....

Queen .....

Made a decorated tag for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

The background was made with Brushos and cling film in multi-colours, trimmed to size and edged with purple Versamagic Chalk ink. I also added a matt gold eyelet with the crop-a-dile.

I then stamped a number of sun symbols (Lynn Parella) in Versafine black ink onto the base.

The main image (Lynn Parella) was stamped in more Versafine black ink and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and colouring with washes of Distress Ink, gold pen and Posca pen. Three gems were added to highlight and it was applied on foam pads as shown.

The adhesive letters were added and edged with Posca black and some silk braids were threaded through the eyelet to finish the tag .....

Star .......

Made another Artist Trading Coin for swapping .....

I made a background with brayered red/orange acrylic paint and die-cut to 2.5 inches diameter.....

I added some stamping heat embossed with clear embossing powder and some Chevrons. I then added three die-cut stars made from Washi tape on card and a stamped 'star' word. I also used Posca pens in white and pink to highlight elements ......

This card was made for the Less Is More Challenge for April ......

I used a 5 x 5 inch white card blank as the base ....

The flower panel was made by stamping the Convolvulus flowers (Kadomo) in grey Memento ink on white card, colouring parts of the flowers with a pink Posca pen. This was edged in worn lipstick Distress Oxide ink and matted on gold glitter board.

The sentiment was treated in exactly the same way. I assembled the card by applying the panel and adding the words on foam pads to finish .....

Made a set of Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .......

I die-cut the Coins to 2.5 inches in diameter from re-cycled food packaging and covered them with a Gelli print background featuring blue spots and gold acrylic paint ..... I applied torn strips of Washi tape as shown.

The columns were stamped in black Archival ink on white card and trimmed out. They were then coloured with a wash made from old paper Distress Ink and embellished with gold pen. They were stuck in place as shown.

The word was stamped in black Archival ink on adhesive fabric tape, trimmed out, stuck in place and edged with turquoise Posca pen. Each coin was then edged with Krylon Gold pen.

Three blue adhesive stones were added to each to finish .....

Family ......

A set of Inchies (1 x 1 inch decorated squares) made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were punched out from re-cycled food packaging and a layer of Gelli print added. A flower was stamped onto each in violet Archival ink and a strip of numbers Washi tape added. Some doodling with Posca pen and some printed words were added.

Each Inchie was edged in black to finish ....
