Made an Artist Trading Card for a Challenge in Crafty Individuals Facebook Group where the theme is 'Winged Things' ......

I cut the base from re-cycled food packaging and cut the background paper to the same size featuring some blue wood effect (Crafty Individuals). This was then stamped with Versafine black ink and this was heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I then stamped again in the same ink on white card, again heat embossing with clear embossing powder. Just the birdie was trimmed out and the body coloured with blue Distress Ink wash. This was then applied on foam pads over the original image.

I decorated the hearts and leaves with dots of Posca marker in red and green.

The ATC was edged with red Versamagic chalk ink and finished with some self adhesive letters spelling the work 'fly' ... these were edged with black Micron pen .....

Take Flight ......

I made a card for a monthly challenge over on 'Crafty Individuals' Facebook Group ....... the theme this month is 'Winged Things' .....

I selected a 6 x 6 inch white cardblank as the base. I then selected some printed text paper and matted this on black card to provide a thin border. This was added to another piece of printed paper (Crafty Individuals).

Next I die-cut a motive (AAll & Create) from more black card, trimmed out and applied two pieces over the text paper infilling some areas with paint marker in green and pink as shown.

I then selected a bird and apple stamp (Crafty Individuals) which was stamped in Versafine black ink and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The image was trimmed out and edged with black ink. I then coloured this with Distress Ink washes and a waterbrush. The apples and leaves were treated with Glossy Accents.

The words were stamped in Versafine Black ink, heat embossed and die-cut.

The layers were added to the card front, the bird added on foam pads and the sentiment stuck in place along with three metallic gold cabochons to finish the card .....

Inventor .....

Made a decorated Tag for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .......

The tag base was cut from re-cycled food packaging.

Decided on lightly steampunk design. I chose some printed background paper from (Crafty Individuals) featuring some light blue wood. and stamped a key stamp from (Chocolate Baroque) with Versamark Ink and heat embossed with gold embossing powder.

I then chose the gentleman stamp (Darkroom Door) and stamped in Versafine black ink, heat embossing with clear embossing powder and trimming out. The compass (Darkroom Door) was stamped in blue Versafine Clair ink and trimmed out. The word (Darkroom Door) was also stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed and applied to black card to form a border.

The background was added to the base and a piece of torn Washi tape (Aall & Create) was added on the right.

The gentleman and compass were added as shown along with the word. The tag was edged in Krylon Gold pen. I added a gold eyelet with the Crop-a-Dile and tied through with some thin gold ribbon to finish ......

Music ......

A set of Artist Trading Cards, made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Music to my Ears' .....

The bases were cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose a Gelli plate background and trimmed 3 pieces to size.

I then stamped with a music score stamp in black Versafine ink across each  ATC half way down. I then added the Treble Clef stamp inked with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder as shown.

I then used another music stamp and stamped randomly in Archival sepia ink. The phrase was then stamped in Versafine black ink on white card and trimmed out before edging with Krylon Gold pen.

The backgrounds were added to the bases, edged with more Krylon gold pen and the phrases were added as show on foam pads to finish ......

Sunny ......

A set of 'Twinchies' made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Sunny Days' .....

I cut the backgrounds from re-cycled food packaging and then cut 4 2 x 2 inch squares from yellow cardstock. I chose a sun stamp and stamped centrally on each with orange Versafine Clair ink which was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I then die-cut 4 circles from gold metallic paper and applied in the centres of each 'sun' image embellishing with dots with an orange Posca pen. The rays were also edged with a white Posca pen.

The decorated layer was applied to the card base and each was edged with Krylon gold pen to finish .....

No Otter .....

This Artist Trading Card was made for a Challenge sponsored by 'Crafty Individuals' over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Wild Animals' .... I used a set of magazine stamps designed by 'Crafty Individuals' ......

The base was cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some printed paper and cut to size. It was stamped with a green leafy frond in dark green Versafine Clair. It was then attached to the base.

The otter was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card which was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was trimmed out and edged in black ink before colouring with Distress ink washes in a couple of shades. It was attached as shown to the background..

The words were stamped in brown Versafine Clair in on white card which again was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was trimmed and colured with a green Distress Ink wash before applying as shown.

The ATC was finished by edging with Versamagic brown chalk ink .......

Faces ......

A set of three Artist Trading Coins made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were die-cut from re-cycled food packaging and they were covered with some floral rose printed paper.

I stamped the face and surround in black Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then added some colour washes with Distress Inks and a water brush. I added an eye accent with fine white Posca pen.

Each Coins was then edged in dark pink Versamagic chalk ink to finish .....

Circles ......

A set of Inchies (1 x 1 inch decorated squares) made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ........

The bases were punched to size from re-cycled food packaging and were covered with some Gelli Printed background paper.

I then stamped with a dotty stamp in orange ink on some plastic circles and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The circles were added to the centres of the Inchies and a yellow faceted adhesive dot added as shown.

I then used a green Posca marker and added dots, drew around the circles and edged to finish .....

Florals .....

 

Made a decorated tag for a Challenge over on Country View Crafts Facebook page  in the theme of Flowers ....

The base was trimmed from re-cycled food packaging and was covered with some green printed paper .... I then used an AAll & Create stamp to add some background detail in sepia Archival Ink before adhering to the base.

The main floral image (AAll & Create) was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then coloured the image with Distress Ink washes and added some glitter details with a Gelly Roll pen before trimming out and applying to the background. The die-cut word was added as shown.

I then added an eyelet with the crop-a-dile and tied through with some pretty pink ribbon to finish .....
