Pink & Blue ....

Made a card featuring an ATC topper ....

The base is a Kraft card base ... the ATC is made from copy paper stamped with a flower stamp made from die-cut foam and stamped in Distress Ink.  This has bee applied to a 2.5 x 3.5 base of re-cycled packaging.

The flowers have been coloured with Posca pen and a piece of Washi tape added. The vintage photo image is a TH 'Paper Doll' wrapped around with pink metallic thread held in place with a mini pink flower gem. The ATC was edged in more Posca ink and onto the card with foam pads.

Rosy ....

Made a couple of foam stamps using some rose dies ....  I have then used them to make a mailart postcard for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

I cut some white card to 6 x 4 inches and coloured with blended Distress inks in Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick, splashing with water and lifting some colour.

I then used the foam stamps with Versamark ink and a number of iridescent metallic heat embossing powders to make the design as shown. A die-cut insect (made from foil paper, stamped with black Stazon) and a printed word, edged with Brilliance ink.

The card was strengthened by layering on re-cycled packaging and finished by edging with gold Krylon pen before spraying with acrylic sealant to protect through the post.

Chirp Chirp .....

A card made for a Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum .... using a swapped stamp to make something ....

I started with a white 6 x 6 inch card blank. I then die-cut a piece of feather printed paper and framed this with another die-cut frame in white card.

The bird stamp was stamped 3 times in shades of Impress die ink on glossy photo paper which were trimmed out. The frame was applied to to the card on foam pads and the feather paper stuck in place.

The birds were applied centrally on foam pads and the design was embellished with sequins centred with purple gems. Some purple Stickles glitter glue was applied on the birds eyes.

The sentiment was stamped on white card with Versafine black ink, trimmed out and edged with black ink before applying as shown to finish the card.

Orient .....

A set of ATC's in the theme of 'Oriental' made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ...

I used re-cycled packaging for the bases which were cut to 3.5 x 2.5 inches.  They were covered with some oriental gold metallic printed paper and were then stamped with a convolvulus stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed with metallic gold/red embossing powder. The tags were die-cut and stamped before adding stickers, metal charm & gem. An eyelet was added and threaded with gold twine.

The background was then embellished with half a black fabric flower and a matt red brad and a square gold jewel brad.  The tags were edged in Brilliance red ink before placing as shown with foam pads on the ATC's.

Each of the ATC's were also edged in the same Brilliance ink to finish.

Bloom .....

A set of Artist Trading Coins made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum .....

They are made on die-cut bases of re-cycled packaging and measure 2.5 inches in diameter.  The background is made from Distress Ink in spiced marmalade and fired brick applied with a foam blender. I then have spattered with water and dabbed dry to distress the colour.

The stylised flowers and stems are stamped in Archival black ink and the leaves stamped in Galaxy gold Brilliance ink.  I have then overstamped some flowers with Versamark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  The sentiment has been stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. Some gold pen was added to highlight portions of the stamped flowers.

I applied some spots of Glossy Accents and some purple clear dots, edging the coins in purple Versamagic chalk ink to finish ....

Foam ....

We have a Challenge this month over on UK Stampers Forum where we are to make a stamp from foam using a die to cut it. Then make something using the stamp .... this is mine ....

I used 3 mm thick fun-foam and die-cut this with the flower die which I then glued to a piece of thick black card as a base. It cut very easily.

I then dug out my Adirondack inks and inked the stamp with wild plum ink and stamped 3 times onto a piece of white card.  I then used a waterbrush and spread the ink.  I then used butterscotch and denim inks to make washes to produce a background.  Once happy I dried with a heat gun, trimmed out and matted onto black card, sticking onto a fuschia coloured card base on foam pads. A small amount of Stickles glitter glue was applied to the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder on black card.  This was trimmed out and applied as shown on more foam pads.

Great idea to make extra stamps from your dies.  If you fancy joining in do click HERE to join the Forum ... we are Fun, Friendly & Fun .... all are welcome !!!
