Made a tag today .....

The tag base was cut from re-cycled food packaging and covered with some stripes printed paper.

I stamped the swirl and the tree (Paperartsy) in black Archival ink and applied a strip of black and white spotty Washi tape near the bottom.

The house (Paperartsy) was stamped on white card in more Archival ink and trimmed out. It was coloured with Distress ink washes and a blue and gold Gelly Roll pens before adding on foam pads.

The tag was punched and a yellow flower eyelet applied with the Crop-a-dile and threaded through with some yellow velvet ribbon. The tag was finished with a Dream brad .....

Bounteous .....

Made a card with a Lynne Perrella stamp by PaperArtsy .....

The background is made with Distress Oxide applied to a stencil, sprayed with water and put on white card. The background was matted on blue and black cards.

The stamp was stamped in black Versafine on white card and trimmed out. It was coloured with Distress washes and glitter pens .... the cheeks being treated with Glossy Accents.

The background was collaged with transfers and a postage stamp along with some torn Washi tape. The main image was then applied on foam pads after shaping to add dimension. The words are Washi tape.

The finished piece was then added to a white card blank .....

Recipe .......

This card, made with Mama Makes stamps for a 'Recipe Challenge on UK Stampers Forum ..... where you had to choose 4 items from a choice of 10 which were included on your make ... My four were : Die-cut, glitter, Brown Kraft Card & sequins I also used Washi tape as an extra ....

I cut a square Kraft matt and stamped this with a number of leaf stamps with various Distress Oxide colours ..... this was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I then stamped the flowers in Versafine black on more Kraft card, this was also heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The flowers were coloured with Acrylograph pens before die-cutting with the decagon die. Another black and pink mat was added to frame.

The base layer was also matted on more black and pink card. The 'Love' was stamped in Versafine black on pink card, trimmed and layered on black. Beneath this is a piece of pink Washi tape with the other word stamped direct. The love was added on foam pads along with the decagon as shown.

I then added the base to a white card blank and finished with three pink sequins and some green Stickles glitter glue on the foliage......

Wish ......

Made a clean and simple card using Mama Makes Stamps and Washi tape .......

I used a 6 x 6 inch white square card blank. I then prepared a matt form white card and edged with floral Washi tape to form a border. This was mounted on a slightly larger matt of black card.

The floral circle was stamped onto white card and watercoloured, another sentiment was stamped in the middle of the circle .... I use Versafine black ink. This was trimmed out and each rose was made glittery with Stickles glitter glue. It was trimmed out and mounted centrally on foam pads and applied centrally on the card blank.

I then trimmed out some more roses from the Washi tape and applied around the card as shown to finish .....

Blues 2 ......

Here is my entry for the Less Is More blog Challenge ......

I used a square white card blank and die-cut a smaller square from more white card. I also die-cut a star from more white card.

The colour swatches were die-cut from paint colour chart cards and applied on each point of the star along with a clear gem in the middle of each.

The sentiment was stamped in blue Versafine Clair ink and die-cut being edged with blue Versamagic chalk ink.

The card was then assembled as shown to finish .......

Dip ......

A set of ATC's made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in a 'Things That Swim' theme .....

I know that penguins are birds but they do one hell of a lot of swimming too !!

The bases are cut to 2.5 x 3.5 from re-cycled food packaging. The background is made using Mama Makes stencils as stamps and Distress Oxides with a water spray. The bases were stamped with a wave stamp at the bottom with more Distress Oxide.

The penguins (Crafty Individuals) were stamped in black Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and watercoloured with Distress Oxide washes. I spattered some white Molotow paintpen over the bases.

The background was added to the bases and the penguins stuck in place, edging and grounding with Inktense black pencil and a waterbrush to add depth.

The ATC's were edged in dark blue Versamagic chalk ink and a printed label applied to each, surrounding with black Micron pen to finish.......

Monochromatic ....

This greetings card has been made for a 'Monochromatic' Challenge on the Country View Challenges blog.........

I have used a 6 x 6 inch white card base. I die-cut a square from white card and embossed  a leafy background through an embossing folder. This was matted on a larger piece of black card to form a border.

The Zebra (Crafty Individuals) was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was cut out and mounted on the background on foam pads. The sentiment (Crafty Individuals) was then stamped and matted on black card before adding as shown.

The layers were then applied to the card blank to finish ...... very simple but I think, very effective .....

Numbers ......

Here are a set of 1 x 1 inch square Inchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

I used re-cycled food packaging as the base and a punch. I then used an embossing folder and embossed some silver mirri board again punching out. This was overlayed on the bases.

I then stamped a strip of printed paper with red Stazon and trimmed off squares applying to the centre of each Inchie. They were edged with black Posca pen. A vellum number was added along with a red adhesive gem.

The Inchies were finished with a surround of red Sharpie pen .......

Blues .....

 

I was honoured to have been chosen as the overall winner  in May 2021 on the Less Is More Challenge Blog ... I have also been invited to be Guest Designer for todays make ......

My card creation started life with a 5 x 7 inch pale blue card blank ...... I then die-cut two mid-blue card squares and rounded the corners. These were stamped in Versamark with a butterfly stamp and heat embossed with dark blue Moonglow mica embossing powder, I added some spots of white Posca pen on the wings. These were matted onto black card and again corner rounded.

They were mounted  (overlapping) on foam pads. The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine on white card and matted on black card to edge and was added to the card front to finish.

Music .....

Here are a set of Twinchies in the theme of 'Musical' made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases are made from re-cycled food packaging and cut to 2 x 2 inches. They have been covered with a Gelli printed paper and decorated with piano woven tape, Washi tape & stamping.

I have used a Posca pen to add some dots and purple adhesive gems. The word is printed with a label printer and each Twinchie is edged with purple Versamagic chalk ink.

Captivating......

Another ATC made to trade .....

Base layer is re-cycled food packaging covered with a background made with acrylic paints and stencils on a Gelli plate.

The butterfly is hand-drawn with Micron pen and coloured with watercolours and a waterbrush. Some spatters with white pen and black Posca pens and an edging with blue Versafine Clair ink and a sentiment made from Washi tape finish the card ......
