Crystal .....

Decided to make a magnetic crystal glass cabochon ....

I have used Alcohol Inks on the flat back of the clear crystal cabochon applied with a felt pad with blending solution.  The decoration has been sealed with a piece of silver self adhesive foil !

I have also added a small strong magnet on the back so it can be used on a magnetic board or as a fridge magnet.

Time for Tea ....

As you know I have a penchant for 'Alice in Wonderland' so I made three MDF Artist Trading Coins ....

A member of UK Stampers Forum (Jannet Blay) sent me a little crafty gift wrapped in AIW tissue paper ... I knew I couldn't throw it away as it was fab so I have used it in making the backgrounds for these coins.  I first painted the coin fronts with white acrylic paint then cut the tissue and applied with gloss medium and a brush being careful not to crease the images.

Once completely dry I decorated the edges with Posca markers and edged the coins with black alcohol ink marker.  The words were stamped in Versafine black ink on white card and adhered on foam pads after trimming out. A few small adhesive crystals were added to decorate and finish the coins.

These are made for trading & thanks to Jannet for the iinspiration .....

Winter ......

Made a set of 3 ATC's in the theme of Winter for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

I used recycled cereal box packaging as the bases which was made by stencilling with moulding paste and sprinkling liberally with blue sparkle glitter whilst wet. Not easy to see in the photo but very glittery !

The two vintage girls were stamped in black Memento ink and just the faces and hands coloured with pink Copic as I wanted to try and keep them monochrome.  Parts of the girls clothing was treated with silver microballs adhered with Glossy Accents.  These were trimmed out and applied over the base with more Glossy Accents.

The word 'Winter' was stamped, trimmed and adhered as shown. The ATC's were edged in black and some pearls added to frame & finish.

The coin was edged in pearlscent ink in pink and some adgesive gems added to finsh the design.

Fly .....

This Artist Trading Coin measures just 2.5 inches in diameter ....

It has been made on die-cut recycled cereal boxes which have been painted in a variety of pearlescent acrylic paints.  Another smaller circle was treated with a number of different embossing powders.  The feather was stamped in Archival black ink and highlighted with white Posca pen. The smaller circle was applied to the larger ash shown.  I used glossy accents to adhere a coating of Bedazzles in green, purple and gold and edged the coin with Krylon gold pen. The 'fly' word is made from individual self-adhesive letters.

Delicate ....

Made a tag for a swap in UK Stampers Forum .....

Wanted to make a very delicately coloured tag and used a variety of handmade textured papers, leaves and flowers on an angelhair block with some gold leafing and fine metallic gold thread. It is finished with some adhesive pearls and a stamped 'Friend' sentiment.  The tag was edged in pale yellow chalk ink.

Hatters ......

Made these 3 Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group ....

The bases are made from die-cut card from cereal packaging and measure 2.5 inches in diameter. I used Distress Oxides to make the background which was also stamped with green dye ink and archival black then heat embossed with a jigsaw piece stamp in opalescent green.  The circles were then splashed with white acrylic paint.

The images (PaperArtsy) were stamped in black Memento ink and cloured with Alcohol Ink markers before being trimmed and stuch in place.  The words (also PaperArtsy) were stamped on lime green card, trimmed and applied on foam pads.  The coins were then edged with orange chalk ink to finish.
