No Idea ......

This decorated tag was made for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I have used white card as the base and made a background on the Gelli plate with Distress Oxide and Acrylic paint. This has been overstamped with roman numerals in black Archival ink. Some orange Washi tape has been applied too.

The main image of a girls face was stamped in Memento black ink, trimmed out, edged with gold pen and the eyes and lips were coloured with Copic markers and also treated with Glossy Accents.  The face was applied to the tag on foam pads.

The printed words were added, edged in Indigo Inktense pencil and a waterbrush. A gold eyelet was added and tied through with lime and orange spotty ribbon with two black adhesive gems added to finish the tag.....

I then stamped the Gnomes (Aall & Create) and mushroom in Memento black ink on white card and coloured these with Copic markers & Posca pen adding some Glossy Accents on the noses and spots on the mushroom.

I then die-cut an archway panel in more white card and coloured this with green and blue Distress ink and water to form a matt. The gnomes and mushroom were applied over the coloured arch and mustard card (some on foam pads) and the card trimmed around to leave a mustard border around the gnomes. This was then matted onto black card and a series of white dots added in Posca pen to surround the images. The 'Garden Gnome' banner was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed out and applied as shown.

Peel-Off .....

Running a new Challenge on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group .... click the link to join the Forum ......

It's a fact, Peel Offs are not the coolest craft item at the moment ! It's also a fact that most of us crafters have loads of them in our stashes.... sat there, unused !

This Challenge is to use some of those unused peel-offs in a card design, along with some stamping and anything else you like...

This is my first entry and was made on a 5 x 7 inch white card blank.....

I cut a white card matt to start with and used a die to cut some corner designs windows as shown. These were backed with a background made with Distress Oxides. I then stamped a stylised Rennie Mackintosh stamp by Sue Law centrally in Archival black ink. this was coloured with pink and turquoise Posca pens. I edged the windows in the matt with black Posca pen and mounted the whole thing onto a slightly larger black card matt which was applied to the card base.

I looked through my unused and neglected peel-offs and selected a couple of gold outline Deco ladies which were applied to white card. They were infilled with a mixture of Posca pens and Copic markers before trimming out and applying on foam pads to the card as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black iink on white card, trimmed and mounted on some pf the Distress background and applied as shown on foam pads. Three black sequins were added on Glossy Accents to finish the card.....

More ideas on the way !
