Decided to make a 'Special Thanks' card today with a leafy/floral theme ......
I started with a 6 x 6 inch square card blank. I then made a panel by colouring with a blend of white and pink satin Acrylic paint and when dry die-cut this into a slightly smaller square. I then stamped this with a leafy stamp and Distress Oxide & Distress Inks, drying with a heat gun.
I then stamped the big skeleton leaf several times with Versafine black ink on white card, drying with a heat gun. This was then coloured with a selection of green Distress Oxides by smooshing on a glass mat. Once dry I trimmed out the leaves.
I then stamped the sentiment in Archival black Ink onto the pink matt. Next I stamped a Lynne Perrella stamp in Memento ink and coloured this with Copic markers before trimming out. The two magnolia flowers were die-cut from orange card and these were coloured with more Copic markers.
I then assembled all elements on the pink matt, some on foam pads to add some depth as shown. The pink matt was then applied centrally onto the card blank to finish !
