A 'Gratitude' card made recently ....
I used a white 6 x 6 inch card base. I then cut a matt from white card to 5.5 inches square.
I selected a die and cut an aperture with an outside stitched edge into the matt. I then used a scoreboard and scored 5 vertical lines on the left.
Next I selected an embossing folder and embossed a design into white card which was trimmed and placed behind the aperture. I then added a piece of gold metallic elastic cord with two knots tied centrally. It was stretched slightly & added by sticking in place behind the matt with hot glue.
I then selected some pastel texture cardstock in blue, orange, yellow & pink and die-cut a number of flowers from the card. The flowers were arranged and stuck in place over the edges of the aperture and embellished with adhesive pearls as shown.
The word was stamped in Versafine black ink which was heat embossed, trimmed out and matted on yellow cardstock to form a border. It was added as shown.
Finally the finished matt was added to the card front on foam pads .....
Loving the pastel colours for a change .....
