Hearty .....

Made a Greetings card for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ........

The base is a white landscape DL cardbase ....

I cut a panel from white cardstock and coloured this centrally with watercolours and a water brush. Once dry I stamped it with a thin stamp (IndigoBlu) in black Versafine ink.

I then stamped some of the frames (IndigoBlu) in more of the same ink, cutting out the centres of some before applying on foam pads over the central design.

I then added 3 'stick' red card hearts as shown and overlaid this with the sentiment (IndigoBlu) matted in black card on foam pads.

The finished panel was matted on black card and applied to the cardbase to finish ....

Travel ......

A Birthday card made for my partner ...... he loves travel and holidays so decided on a travel theme ....

I die-cut a matt and printed paper with a stitched edge die. I applied the paper to the background.

I applied a number of stickers to this in the travel theme and stamped some squiggles in orange Archival ink.

The travel motifs (Tim Holtz) were stamped in Violet, Dark green and Maroon Archival inks which were heat embossed with clear embossing powder. They were trimmed out and applied as shown some on foam pads to raise.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card and die-cut before adding on more foam pads.

The finished background was then added to a 6 x 6 inch white card blank to finish .... hope he likes it !

Hello ......

A card made recently almost in Halloween colours  .....

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank and cut a smaller square from white card. This was edged in purple Versamagic chalk ink. I the coloured this in a crescent with purple and orange Distress ink applied with a brush.

The leaves are all die-cut using a set of dies by Tim Holtz/Sizzix called 'Artsy Leaves' I cut some from matt silver card, black card and purple/orange Gelli print paper. The leaves were assembled and arranged in a rough crescent over the coloured background with some raised on foam pads. Once done the background was added to the card front.

The sentiment (Tim Holtz) was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card which was trimmed and matted on more of the Gelli background. This was added to the card on more foam pads to finish .....

Wedding ......

A Wedding card made for a friend using the same blue as the bridesmaids dresses .......

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank and die-cut a stitched edge square from more white card the corner of which was die-cut with a corner trellis. This was backed with the same blue as that of the flowers.

I then die-cut a number of flowers in white and blue centring with clear gems and applying as shown.

The words were also die-cut and applied as shown.....

The square was then applied to the card front on foam pads .....

Rose ........

Made a Clean & Simple card using stamps from the latest IndigoBlu Box set .......

I made the card base from white 300gsm card and it measures 5 x 5 inches.

The background plate was cut from white card and was stamped with the trellis in a mixture of green Distress Oxides which were heat set. This was matted onto black card and applied centrally to the card front.

I next stamped the rose in Versafine black on white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and colouring with worn lipstick distress ink washes, applied with a waterbrush. The leaves were stamped in green Archival ink, trimmed out and applied onto the trellis matt overlapping the edges. The rose was applied over the leaves on foam pads.

The words were stamped in Versafine black ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, matted on black card and applied as shown on foam pads.

I added three drops of pink Crystal Drops to finish the card ......

Inspire .......

 A card made on a 6 x 6 inch brown Kraft base .....

I stamped the motifs (stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz) in various shades of green Impress dye inks on white card. I then die-cut each with a stitched edge octagon die. I then chse a larger die and cut more octagons from black card. The elements were matted onto tghe black card.

These were arranged on the card front as shown and centred with a white die-cut star on foam pads.

The card was finished with the sentiment on the star ......

A Clean & Simple card ......

The card is on a white 6 x 6 inch card base. I die-cut a smaller stitched edge square from white crad and die-cut a star into this.

I selected a piece of night sky printed vellum and applied to the card front. The die-cut square with star aperture was added on foam pads over the star.

I then die-cut a series of stitched edge squares and arranged as shown, some on foam pads.

The sentiment (Stampin'Up) was stamped in black Versafine ink and die-cut before adding on more foam pads to finish the card .......

Celebrate......

 A celebration card .....

I chose a piece of spotty background paper and stamped this with the flower stamp in Versafine black ink which was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder which gives a mirror gloss finish. This was trimmed and matted onto some script paper to leave a border. The bold solid form of the flower stamp makes a bold impression.

The panel was applied to a 6 x 6 inch white card base.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, die-cut and applied as shown on foam pads after edging in black ink.

This card would be great for a man too ......

Smile .......

Made a Clean & Simple card .....

The base is an A6 white card blank. I then cut a smaller matt from white card and die-cut a stitched oval in the centre of the matt.

I then watercoloured a tree on some watercolour card and set this onto the card front. The die-cut matt was then applied to the card front on foam pads to spotlight the watercolour through the aperture.

I then die-cut some leaves from white card and applied these as shown through the oval. I also die-cut a semi-circle and applied on the matt.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink, die-cut and applied on foam pads.

Finishing touch was to apply 3 pale green adhesive pearls .......

Smile .....

A Clean & Simple card made today ......

The base is a 5 x 5 inch brown Kraft card......

I cut a smaller matt from white card and die-cut a stitched square from the centre. I then scored a border on the score board. This was then applied to the card front to leave a border on foam pads with the aperture over the Kraft below.

The white and brown Kraft foliage and flowers were die-cut and arranged as shown over the aperture. A couple of hearts were di-cut from red card and applied over the stems as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink and then die-cut before applying on foam pads to finish the card ......

I think simple, uncluttered but effective......

Note ......

I used the same stamp (Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz) as in my previous post to make this note card .....

The base is a 5 x 5 ins brown Kraft card blank....

This time I stamped the Daisy on white card with an Adirondack dye ink in Wild Plum, this was heat embossed with clear embossing powder whilst still wet. I then used a yellow Ecoline Brushpen and coloured the petals along with orange in the centre. The embossed colour resists the added colour because it is sealed by the heat embossing .......

The image was trimmed, matted on black card and added to the card front.

The sentiment (Uniko) was stamped in black Versafine ink and again heat embossed before trimming, matting on black and adding on foam pads to finish the card ......

Think it's a bit 'Andy Warhol' ........ and what a difference can be achieved by adding different colours !

Thoughts ......

Made a Happy Thoughts card  .....

The card is on a 6 x 6 inch white card base ...... I used pre-made tiles using a Brusho background, stamping & heat embossing using Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz stamps. The tiles were adhered to a piece of background paper from Crafty Individuals and trimmed. This background was then matted onto a piece of turquoise card.

The central plate was stamped (Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz) in Versafine black on a white card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was trimmed to leave a border. The flower was coloured with Ecoline brushpens and the plate was edged in Krylon Gold pen.

This image was then added to the background on foam pads and a sentiment stamped and added on more foam pads to finish ......

Loving these new stamps ......

Citrus .....

A card made for a 'Lime, Lemon & Orange' colour Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The card started with a 6 x 6 inch white card base ......

I chose a 'Cocktail' stamp and stamped with Versafine black ink on white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was coloured with Copic markers and I used Glossy Accents to highlight the pineapple, cherry and reflections.

The coloured image was matted onto lime, orange, yellow & black cards highlighted with an orange Copic and added to the card front on foam pads to finish .....

Who doesn't like a fruity cocktail ? I certainly do .......

White ......

Love white-on-white so here is a thanks card .......

I used a white cardbase and die-cut the widow frame from more white card. It was added on foam pads and I then scored the left tall cut-out and replaced it onto the card front through the aperture.

I then die-cut a number of delicate leaves from more white card and added these in the three smaller apertures as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and die-cut. This was added on foam pads as shown.

Finishing touch was to add three self-adhesive pearls ......

Happy ......

A card made on a 6 x 4 white card base ......

The background was made by cutting a piece of white card and colouring with Distress Oxide washes in wilted violet, mustard seed & lucky clover.

This was then stamped a few times with a fleur-de-lys stamp (Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz - Creative Blocks) in Sepia Archival Ink. This background was then matted on brown Kraft card and applied to the card base.

Another background was made on watercolour card with Brusho watercolours and when dry this was stamped with Versafine black using some more of the same stamps. This was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. They were trimmed out and matted on more brown Kraft card before applying centrally on foam pads to the background.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, trimmed out, edged with black ink and applied as shown to finish the card ......

This Clean & Simple card was made on a 6 x 6 inch white card base .....

I coloured a 3 x 3 inch piece of white card with Distress Oxide inks, smooshed  with water. Once dry I stamped the flowers and leaves (Stampers Anonymous/Tim Holtz - Floral Trims) in Archival black ink. I then used a waterbrush and Distress Ink washes to colour the leaves and flowers.

The flower plate was edged in black ink and matted onto black and then silver mirri card and added centrally onto the card base.

The sentiment was stamped in grey Archival ink, die-cut and applied as shown to finish ......

Luck ......

The card started as a 6 x 6 inch white card blank .....

I then stamped the flowers (Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Floral Trims) twice in Versafine black ink on more white card, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. I then trimmed a suitable section to 4 x 4 inches square. This was matted on black card to form a border and the black & white panel was mounted centrally on the card front.

I then coloured one of the flowers and a couple of leaves with Distress Ink washes using a waterbrush, trimmed out, edged with black ink and applied over the originals on foam pads. A few bits of gold were added to the stamens with a gold pen along with 3 clear glass cabochons ....

The word (Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous - Note Quotes) was stamped in yellow Distress Ink on white card, heat set, matted on black card and trimmed. It was added as shown to finish .....

Tiles ......

A Clean & Simple card ....

Made a white card base to 5 x 5 inches square from 300gsm card......

I next chose 4 of the Tiles (Tim Holtz/Sizzix) and stamped them in black Versafine ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. They were die-cut to leave a small white border.

The tiles were then coloured with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush, adding some highlights with stronger colours and then adding some gold acrylic ink with a fine brush. Each of the tiles were then matted on black card to leave a fine black border.

The tiles were then added directly as shown to the card front. The words were stamped in Versafine black on white card, trimmed and added as shown to finish the card .....

Heart .......

Made a hearty rabbit Clean And Simple card ......

The base is a 6 x 6 inch white card blank and I have die-cut a stitched-edge 5.5 x 5.5 inch white card matt which was added to the card front.

The rabbit, heart and crosses (Tim Holtz/Sizzix) were die-cut from white, pearlescent pink, red and black cards and assembled as shown onto the matt. I added some pink Impress ink with a cotton wool bud to highlight the rabbit.

I next cut another stitched-edge square from white card and stamped the sentiment (Woodware) in Versafine black Ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This was added on foam pads as shown.

The card was then finished with three pink Nuvo glitter drops......

Poppy .....

A Clean And Simple card ......

The base is a 6 x 6 ins white card blank. I made a watercolour background with paints and watercolour card and this was trimmed to 3 ins square and edged with black ink. I then stamped a sewn circle in black Versafine ink and matted this onto a die-cut stitched square made from cream hammered card. and this was edged with more black ink.

I next die-cut a couple of poppies, one in red and one in yellow these were applied on foam pads to the watercolour square. I also die-cut a poppy bud from dark green card and applied as shown.

The finished square was applied to the card front. The word was stamped in black ink, trimmed and matted on black card and applied to the front along with a couple of pink glitter drops to finish the card ......
