The sentiment (Stampin'Up) was stamped in Versafine black ink to finish.

Krafty Triangles one !

I made three variations on a theme using a 4.5 x 4.5 inch Kraft card in each case.  This is the first, the others will follow over the next 2 days.

I cut some triangles from coloured card in 3 different purple/mauve/pink colours, these were stamped with a heart (Stampin' Up) in grape jelly Memento ink.

A piece of triangle Washi tape was adhered across the card front.  Fine lines were drawn in black Micron pen and the triangles mounted on foam pads as shown.

The sentiment (Stampin' Up) was then stamped in Versafine black ink to finish.

Happy Birthday .......

I made this birthday card using a 5 x 5 inch square white card base. I then trimmed a matt from pale green card and stuck a trimmed Gelli plate background I had previously made using acrylic paints and a stencil onto this.

The ribbon was made from purple satin ribbon and adhered over the mat with red line tape.

The sentiment and heart (Stampin' Up) were stamped on white card with Memento grape jelly dye ink.  This was trimmed and mounted on foam pads over a piece of mauve hammered card.

3 pearlescent cabochons were added on the ribbon to finish.

Citrus Birthday ........

Bright and cheery citrus colours are the basis for this birthday card.  Started with a white 5 x 5 inch card base and I have used Washi tape and die-cuts to produce a rosette flower all held together with a brad.

The sentiment is stamped in Versafine black ink using a Papertrey Ink stamp.  The plate was raised on foam pads.

There you have it, sure it will brighten someones day !

Spring has Sprung .......

Well I think you will all agree ' Spring has Sprung' finally, with gorgeous daffodils out in their full Spring glory.

I decided to make this little card to celebrate the season.  I used Beth Hughes stamps from a 'Seasons' series.  I first stamped the daffodils image in black Memento ink on white card, trimmed it out and coloured with Alcohol Ink markers.  The plate was then edged in more Memento and mounted on foam pads.

The sentiment was again stamped on white card in more Memento black ink, trimmed and edged and a mounted on more foam pads.

Love the clean and simple look on this card and here's wishing you a fantastic Spring !

Wishes in Numbers

A best wishes card here, made using more Washi tape and die cuts.  The card base is a 5 x 5 inch white card blank.

The Washi tape was strategically placed as shown and a diecut flower assembled with an orange brad at its centre.  This was stuck over the Washi tape as shown with hot glue.

The sentiment (Papertrey Ink) was stamped in black Versafine on white card, trimmed and adhered on foam pads over the Washo tape to finish.

Wish Upon A Star ......

I designed a card which won a prize with the Less is More Blog Challenge recently so I set about and made 3 more on the same theme.  I made them with the technique described on my post HERE .

All are on 5 x 5 inch white square card bases.  This first one uses Washi Tape from We R Memory Keepers in a blue/green colourway.

The second one uses some pearlised tape (not sure of where I bought it).

The last uses more pearlised tape in lilac but interspersed with some TH Tissue tape from Ranger.

Of course I had to use the word 'Wish' .......... upon a star !

I think the last one is too fussy to show the raised star, but I like the first one most !  What do you think?

Pink Sprinkles ......

Lots of pink in these shaker cards so I hope you don't get pink overload !!  I made 3 cards in various styles.

Various dies were used along with a sheet of double sided adhesive foam and acetate.  This enabled a leak proof seal to stop the pesky sprinkles from escaping from the shaker.

The words were again die-cut, some in fab pink glitter card.

All papers used were 6 x 6 in from Stampin' Up.

The last oblong card also had some stamping in dark pink Memento under the shaker window and had a few layered matts.

The first card was embellished with a metal heart charm tied through the spine of the card with pink raffia twine.

Well I think that has got all that pink out of my system for the moment !!

Congratulations ..........

Everyone loves a bit of bling ! This card was made using a range of teal adhesive tapes.  I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller matt in more white card.  This was then covered with strips of tape - one thin and metallic, one glitter covered, one striped and a metallic spotty one. This pattern was repeated to cover the entire matt.

The matt was adhered to the card front.  I then diecut a stitched star out of Black Magic blue coloured core card through the Sizzix Big Shot.  I rubbed the black down with fine glass paper to show a little colour through and mounted the star as shown on foam pads.

The sentiment (PaperArtsy) was stamped in black Versafine ink on some white card, trimmed out and also adhered on foam pads to overlap the star.

This fits the bill for the City Crafter Challenge Blogs 'Case Me If You Can' challenge for this week. I have cased CASE #1.  It's also the City Crafters 6th Birthday, so congratulations to the team there !

Inchies of Gratitude ......

A big thank you to all who take the time to comment on my blog.  This monochrome card sums it all up !  This card also fits the bill for the Less is More Blog Challenge for week 272 whose requirement is for you to 'Use 3 Stamps'.  That's exactly what I have done here !

I started with a 5 x 7 inch topfold white card blank.  From another piece of white card I cut a smaller matt and embossed this through a an Indentz leafy vine folder using the Sizzix Big Shot. This was adhered on the card front.

I then stamped a couple of Spring inchie stamps on more white card in Versafine black ink.  These were punched out with a 1 inch square punch.  I then diecut more larger squares in more white card and layered up the stamped inchies on these using foam pads.

These were adhered over another strip of white card left plain.

The sentiment (Papertrey Ink) was stamped on white card with more Verafine black ink, trimmed out and mounted as shown on more foam pads to finish.

So thanks once more !!

Dream Spotting !

I thought 'Dream Spotting' was an appropriate title for these cards.

Kraft card time with some simple die cut circles in two variations.  The base cards are Kraft and measure 12 cm square.

I used hammered cream card and pale orange card to cut the spots through the Sizzix Big Shot.

The first card has double spots layered alternatively in a square pattern on foam pads to give a 3D look, they were arranged in a square

The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and was stamped in Versafine black ink on both cards.

The second card just has small circles applied in the same colourway.

This versatile design could be customised in any colourway to suit any type of card.  Simples !!

Blue Riband

No not the biscuit !  This card started life as a 5 x 5 inch white square card base.  I used some Washi tapes to decorate in vertical and horizontal stripes as shown.

The rosette was diecut from some heavy printed paper using a Sizzix die and made up, finishing with a blue brad. This was added along with two diecut leaves using hot glue.

The sentiment (Papertrey Ink) was stamped on white card with Versafine black ink, trimmed and applied on foam pads to finish.

Nice and bright whilst still being simple !

Sweet Heart

Every now and then we need to say to someone that we think they are sweet. This little card does just that using embossing folders, punches printed paper and stamps.

It all started with a 5 x 7 inch white card base.

This was stamped with a small ISC stamp with Memento rhubarb stalk dye ink around the outer edge.

I then cut another slightly smaller matt from more white card and punched a heart with a dotty edge top left with a Martha Stewart punch.  The matt was then embossed through the Sizzix with a swirl embossing folder.

I then chose a printed paper from Stampin' Up and backed the aperture with a piece of this.  The embossed matt was then applied centrally on the card on foam pads.

The sentiment is from Uniko and was stamped in Versafine black ink, trimmed, edged with more Memento rhubarb stalk ink and mounted on more foam pads to finish.

How sweet is that?
