Monochrome .....

Sharing a simple monochrome card today ......

I started with a 5 x 7 inch black card blank ....... I then cut a  a white matt and a smaller black matt. I embossed the black matt with a spotty embossing folder through the Big Shot.

I then die-cut a number of leafy buds in white card and layered these in a line as shown. I then cut a banner and stamped the sentiment in Versamark ink, heat embossing with white detail embossing powder. This was added on foam pads after applying two black adhesive gems.

The layers were them assembled onto the card base to finish.

Steampunk......

Made this card as my entry into the That's Crafty July Challenge on Facebook whose theme is 'Everything Steampunk' .....

I used a 5 x 7 inch white card blank as the base. I cut a matt from white card and embossed this with a Sizzix embossing folder. I then wiped over the embossed design with a White Linen Distress Oxide ink pad highlighting the raised portions and whilst still wet applied Bronze embossing powder and heated to emboss. I added some brown watercolours to selected parts. This matt was then matted again onto black card to leave a fine border.

I then used a Steampunk background stamp (EcoGreen) to stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed with black embossing powder.  This was trimmed out and some metallic silver pen and brown watercolours added to the image. I also stamped a train emblem plate (EcoGreen) in Archival Sepia ink and trimmed this out also.

I then added a strip of measuring tape ribbon at the base of the embossed plate and added the other plate on foam pads along with the emblem.

I then added some metal embellishments, a corner, a key, two square brads & the number 13 which was applied with hot glue.  The finished matt was added to the card front and two strips of numbers Washi tape added to finish the card.

Ballerina .....

This card was inspired by one made by Godelieve Tijskens - Stamping Mathilda ......

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller piece of white card and put this through an embossing folder treated with black soot Distress Oxide. I then used a text stamp and Versafine black ink to overstamp the embossed panel.

The panel was then matted on black card and applied to the card front. Next I stamped a Ballerina in more black Versafine ink and die-cut this with a round stitched edge die. I then added three black sequins with Glossy Accents. This was mounted on foam pads and the circle applied as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine on white card, trimmed and matted on black card before mounting on foam pads as shown.

Love the monochrome look and it's a long time since I coloured with an embossing folder !

Rednose .....

A Christmas card made mainly of Kraft card ....

The Kraft card base is embossed with a snowy embossing folder. This is overlayed with a lighter die-cut Kraft square.

The deer were die-cut from the darker Kraft and the antlers from gold glitter card. They are applied on foam pads and their noses coloured red with Posca Pen.

White Deer ....

Made a white-on-white Christmas card .......

The 5 x 5 card base front was embossed with a snowy embossing folder through the Big Shot. I then die-cut a star and the deer in white card and the antlers in silver glitter card.
The star, deer and antlers were layered on foam pads and the noses coloured red with a Posca pen.

Simple but nice .....

Deery Me .....

Made a simple Christmas card ....

I used a 5 x 5 inch square Kraft card blank and die-cut the deer out of the front. I then embossed the front with an embossing folder through the Big Shot.

I cut a square of white card and backed the die-cut inside the card front. I added red noses to the deer with a Copic marker.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink onto white card, trimmed out and applied as shown on foam pads to finish.

Cones .....

A clean & simple Christmas card made recently ....

It is on a 5 x 5 ins white card blank and I have embossed the front of the card with a 'Falling Snow' folder from Stampin'Up

I then matted some more white card onto some holly red card. I stamped the sentiment 'Silent Night' in black Versafine ink as shown before applying directly on the card blank.

The pinecone decoration & leaves were die-cut from kraft and green cards. The pinecones are layered and infilled with Stickles glitter glue. They were arranged in a pleasing way as shown on foam pads and finished with three red dewdrops.

Simple but effective ....

Ohh La La ....

This CAS card was made for a Challenge on UK Stampers Forum where the participants choose one of their stamps which then travels, on a monthly basis, around the group of 12 where they make something using your stamp !

The stamp was stamped onto white card in Memento ink and was coloured with Copic markers.  It was die-cut out and some Glossy accents were added to highlight areas of the image.

A frame was made with white card which was embossed with a cross design and applied on foam pads.

The printed words were also added on foam pads.

Pastel .....

A set of Inchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

The background was made by stamping with Distress Oxides, the card was then embossed through the Sizzix Bigshot before selectively punching out the 1 x 1 inch squares.

I then decorated the embossing with various pens ... some with glitter !  The printed words were edged in black and applied as shown.  I have edged the Inchies with Versamagic Chalk inks to finish.

June square ......

This 4 x 4 inch decorated square was made for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group ..... this one is for June !!!

I used an embossed background treated with paints and metallic waxes on card from a recycled cereal box.  A stamped and coloured tag along with printed collage elements, fibres and metal florals have been complimented with buttons and glitter glue.

This one is going to a member in Germany ..... hope she likes it !

Magi .......

Made a foiled Traditional Christmas card today .....
