Halloween Postcard
Here is a postcard done as part of a swap over on UK Stampers Forum. The theme this month was 'Orange & Purple' so I went a bit spooky with this one.
I started with a 6 x 4 inch orange board base and then used a variety of Stickers and borders from Graphic 45 to cover the base. I also used Posca pens in black and white to doodle and dot as shown.
Only stamps used were alphas to stamp 'Trick or Treat' in Memento black ink.

My heart.............ATC
This ATC was done as my first entry to the Think Monday, Think ATC challenge. The subject this week is Handwriting.
I cut the ATC from white board and adhered a piece of printed background paper to it with handwriting printed on a cream background from K & Co Lifes Journey. I then chose a rubber stamp with the words 'My Heart Is Like A Singing Bird' and stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with Stampendous twighlight embossing powder and a heat gun.
I cut out a medallion from the same paper and dabbed this with moonglow delphinium turquoise Starburst Stain, again drying with the heat gun. The ATC was sprayed with moonglow desert moon endless sky Glitz Spritz and allowed to dry and edged roughly with some more starburst stain. I used a calligraphy swirl stamp (anon) and stamped twice with Brilliance meditteranean blue ink.
The medallion had a small fabric flower applied centrally and this was secured with a pewter coloured square brad before attaching as shown with foam pads to give depth.
I would have used some of my own handwriting..........but it is really bad, so I opted for a stamp instead.
Hope you like it :)

'The Blue Cap'
This is my first entry to the Wednesday Stamper Challenge. This weeks theme is 'Put Your Thinking Cap On'.
I cut a piece of white board and applied Distress Inks in worn lipstick, tattered rose and dried marigold with cut'n'dry foam, building up layers and drying in between. I then stamped down the left hand side with a stone background stamp fom the Judikins artifacts cube (67181) with Versamark and embossed with Stampendous antique gold fine embossing powder. The right hand part of the base was then stamped with Whispers sepia dye ink applied to a Art, Life and Beauty text stamp from Hero Arts (G2678).
The base card was then matted onto some dark rose textured card and trimmed to size. The boy with the cap embellishment was cut out from an old magazine and applied in two parts with glue stick as seen. The word escape was stamped in Brilliance Mediterannean blue as seen. The letters spelling out 'The Blue Cap' were from K&Co and were given a light patting with Colorbox chalk ink in french blue before being applied with dabs of Glossy Accents to finish.
Hope you like it :)
