Made an ATC for a swap over on
Crafty Individuals Facebook Group ......
The Challenge was to make an Artist Trading Card in the theme of 'Hot Colours' ......
I made the ATC base from re-cycled food packaging, and then cut a background from some CI paper. This was trimmed to size and stamped with CI-116 in Versafine black ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder.
I then chose a very old CI wood mounted stamp CI-065 and stamped this on white card in Versafine black ink .... also heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I chose one of the 4 images of ladies and trimmed out. This was coloured with Distress ink washes in fiery colours before matting on some black card.
The embossed paper was added to the base and the whole card edged with Versamark ink which was then heat embossed with some dark red embossing powder.
I chose a piece of orange wavy woven ribbon and added at the top on red-line tape, trimming the edges. This was decorated with the three self adhesive letters spelling 'HOT'.
The ATC was finished by adding the matted lady as shown direct to the card.
I then die-cut the envelope (Tim Holtz - Sizzix) from some Kraft card to hold the ATC ....
Hope my swap partner likes it ......
