Leaf .....

Some while back I tried decorating a round teabag with acrylic paints, stamping (Uniko) in Archival Ink and stencilling.

I decided to convert it into an Artist Trading Coin (2.5 inches in diameter) by applying it to an MDF base and adding some decoration with Posca pens, glossy accents and sequins. The Coin is edged with gold Krylon pen. I have also used shimmering gel pens to cover some areas of the stamping.

I have entered this into the Craft Stamper Magazine 'Take It Make It' Challenge for April whose theme is 'Anything Goes'.

Liked the way it turned out and will certainly try to do more this way in future.

Wishing .....

We run a monthly decorated tag swap over on the UK Stampers Forum Group .....

I decided to make a pastel colour tag this time and used stencils, with acrylic paints. Die-cut wildflowers were cut and applied in contrasting colours.

I used some stamping on the background too. I have applied a few white sequins and edged the tag in brown Versamagic chalk ink.  I used a crop-a-dile to apply a silver eyelet and threaded this through with some decorative fibres to finish. 

The sentiment was stamped and applied on foam pads.

Pennants .....

Made a Birthday Card using printed papers, a stamp and metal butterfly & adhesive gems. It was made on a 5 x 5 inch white card blank !

Tropical .....

Bloody Mary ......

Made this card recently in a clean & simple style, as the stamp is the focal point ....

It is made on a 6 x 6 inch square white card base.  I have cut a green matt and a slightly smaller white matt onto which I have stamped the 'Bloody Mary' cocktail image in black Memento Ink.

This has been coloured with Copic alcohol markers and the ice cubes trated with Glossy Accents glaze.

The sentiment was stamped in black ink and matted on more green card and reads 'What a Great reason to Celebrate'. It was applied on foam pads to raise it slightly.

Cracked people ....

Made a set of three ATC's in a theme of 'People' for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

Idecided to do a distressed look & made the bases from re-cycled packaging and used Distress Inks, Distress Oxide Ink along with stamps and bronze metal embellishments.

The main images are old stickers and where the frames are applied with brads I have used Crackle Accents to produce a cracked glass effect.  They are finished with Distress Stickles.

Squared .....

Made 6 x 1inch squares (Inchies) for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The background has been made with Distress Oxides and stamping on photo paper with added Washi tape& heat embossing.  I have also used a silver pen and some adhesive gems before edging with green chalk ink !

Splat ......

Made a CAS Birthday card ...

On a white card base I have layered a smaller white mat which has been stamped in Memento and Archival inks. 

The 'happy' is die-cut from black card and the 'birthday' has been stamped.  I have simply added 3 clear purple adhesive dots to finish.  The mat was added on foam pads.

Star .....

Made these three Artist Trading Coins for a swap this month over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases are die-cut from recycled packaging which has been covered in blue card. Over this is a  smaller circle of paper featuring clouds.

I have stamped a star and die-cut this with a star die, coloured around it with blue Alcohol Marker and added iridescent glitter to the star.  Both the outside edge and the star have been decorated with Posca pen dots in white and blue.  The star has been attached centrally on foam pads to finish !
