It's time for another 'Less Is More' challenge:
Hoping that you can join in by making a Clean And Simple card in the theme. Please ensure you adhere to the Guidelines on the LIM Blog to be considered for being Showcased or to win !
Here's my card:
I started with a 5 x 5 white card blank. I then chose some beautiful Japanese paper bought in Tokyo a long time ago. It has lovely colours and metallic gold. I die-cut a butterfly from this paper using a die which also cuts strips on the wings.
I next die-cut a stitched square frame from gold paper. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card before trimming out.
The card was then assembled ..... first the frame was applied as shown. Next the butterfly was shaped and applied on foam pads to give dimension within the frame. I added a body and antenna with a fine Micron pen. Finally the sentiment was added.
If you need more inspiration please do visit the 'Less Is More' Blog where there are cards from my fellow Design Team members .....
