Make A Wish ......

Here is a card made for the weekly challenge over on the Less Is More Challenge Blog whose theme this week is a sketch ....

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank and cut another slightly smaller matt as the base.  I then diecut 3 roses in different colours and arranged these on the matt before sticking in place.  The sentiment (PapertreyInk) was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink and trimmed out before applying on foam pads.

Three coloured gems were added to finish before the matt was applied to the card on more foam pads.

Fall postcard ......

Here is a postcard made for a Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group ....

I started with white card and then made a background with Distress Oxide inks.  I then stamped the design in more Distress Oxide using Uniko stamps and used a Micron pen to outline selected areas.  The swirls were stamped in brown Chalk ink.  The main sentiment (Tim Holtz) was stamped in Archival Black ink and 4 dots of dimensional pearls were added to finish.

Mini Celebration .....

Made a mini CAS (3 x 3 inch) Celebration Card today ......

Started with a white card blank.  I then diecut two matts one from mauve card and one from white.  I then stamped the seedhead image and the sentiment in archival black ink onto the white matt.  Colour was added with Posca pens.

The matts were then assembled and mounted on foam pads.

Friendly Inchies .....

A set of Inchies made for the September Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group.......

I punched out six 1 x 1 inch squares of kraft card as the base, followed by six more from white card coloured with Distress Oxides.

I stamped a flower in black Archival centrally on the kraft squares.  I then used a die and cut a square aperture in the centre of the coloured squares.

I then layered the coloured over the stamped kraft squares.  I stamped 'friend' (Papertrey Ink) in archival black as shown and used some gel pens to colour the central flower and the inner square frames.  I edged with turquoise chalk ink & finished with a fine black Micron pen.

Earthy Birthday .....

Sharing an earthtones Birthday card with some reed stamps .....

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank.  I then diecut a Kraft card matt and a slightly smaller white card matt.  I stamped the reeds in Memento brown, maroon & beige onto the white matt and added glitter glue to decorate.  The matt was then applied to the card front on foam pads.

I then diecut a label in white card and stamped the sentiment onto this with Archival black ink.  this was matted onto Kraft card and trimmed to leave a margin.  This was applied directly as shown with a foam pad at the right.

I then added three brown pearl cabochons to finish the card ......

Butter Flight Birthday ......

A butterfly Birthday card from me today ......

Made on a 5.5 x 5.5 inch white card blank with a diecut matt as the base.  The butterflies (Darkroom Door) were stamped in Archival black ink onto thin white card.  These were punched out and layered over some more punched out butterflies in pink gingham design paper.

The base matt was coloured with Distress ink splashes at various densities.  The butterflies were coloured with pens and some pink glitter glue added before placing on the matt as shown.  The sentiment (Happy Little Stampers) was stamped in Archival black on white card trimmed out and matted on some pink card before applying on foam pads.  Three black adhesive gems were added to finish.

Clean and Simple style .....

Tagging in the Garden ....

Made a tag for a monthly Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group .....

I made a background on white card with Distress Oxides and cut a larger pink matt from card.

The urn, leaves and hydrangeas were stamped on white card with a set of layering stamps (Kitchen Sink a US company) and Memento inks.  These were trimmed out and mounted on foam pads onto the matt as shown.  I used a piece of ribbon as the stem for the topiary design.

I stamped the words in Versafine black (Woodware) and doodled with white and black pens as shown.

The eyelet was applied with the Cropadile and some ribbons threaded through to finish.

Watercolour Birthday ....

Sharing a floral watercolour card made with stamps & Distress Inks on watercolour paper. Diecut matted layers of card were also used and applied on foam pads with a few adhesive gems to finish.

Birthday time .....

A 'time' based Birthday card today ....

Made from a 5 x 7 inch white card base, diecuts, Distress Oxide background and sentiment stamped in Black Versafine ink.  The matts are added on foam pads and the card is decorated with coloured sequins to finish.

You know what they say 'Time Flies' and for me it certainly does !

Fly by .... butterfly

Made this Birthday card with a butterfly & who doesn't like a butterfly?

Used a 5 x 7 inch white card base and then diecut some watercolour paper.  I stamped the butterfly (Darkroom Door) in Archival black ink and used Distress ink colours and a waterbrush to colour the image. I thoroughly dried the paper matt and then (using a stamp positioner) overstamped with more Archival black ink and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder.  The background was coloured with distress ink and some ink was removed by adding water and blotting off with a piece of kitchen roll.  This was then matted onto black card.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed and again matted onto black card.

Both image and sentiment where then applied to the card front on foam pads. three gems were added to finish the card.

Swirly Thanks .....

Good morning and here is a little 3 x 3 greetings card I made ....

I diecut a white matt with a stitched edge, onto this I stamped a swirl stamp in multi colours of Memento dye ink and added a sentiment (Papertrey Ink) stamped in Versafine black ink.  I added a swirl of stickles crystal glitter glue and mounted the matt onto the card front to finish.

Tissue & Texture ......

Made these ATC's for a Swap for September on UK Stampers Forum Facebook group !

I have used crumpled tissue paper and Mod Podge on the bases & texture paste through a stencil. Colour is from Acrylic paints, Posca markers, Chalk ink and decoration with crystals and glitter glue. Stamps have been used extensively too.
