Two little Artist Trading Coins made recently for swapping .....
I used a die-cut butterfly made from bookpaper and painted with french pink acrylic paint. This was cut in half to make two Coins. The bases were made from re-cycled cereal packet card.
I used a Gelli plate background made from Distress Oxides with some iridescent blue medium to add a shimmer.
I stamped some dots and shapes in pink and blue with Archival ink and added some blue and pink adhesive pearl cabochons.
The half butterflies were attached with wings on foam pads and edging with Posca pens. I drew in bodies and antenna in black Posca. The coins were edged in pink Posca. The words (Crafty Individuals) were stamped and applied with an edge with blue Posca to finish.
