This time an altered mint tin ......
The tin was prepared on the outside by rubbing down with fine glassaper and giving a couple of coats of white gesso. The inside was coated with Alcohol ink to provide a shiny green finish.
The outside was then spattered with a sponge and acrylic paints in green & cream acrylic paints and allowed to dry.
I then stamped a number of ivy leaves on tissue and tore these out. They were then applied with matt medium to the front and back of the tin and allowed to dry completely.
Some die-cut leaves were added along with the stamped words.
I then applied iridescent clear bugle beads around the rim of the time with more gel medium.
I decorated the inside front of the tin with Angelina fibres, a piece of faux dichroic glass, die-cut leaf and some adhesive gems.
I added some green micro-balls around the inside back of the tin with Glossy Accents and embellished with a number of die-cut leaves added on gel medium for relief. Some green adhesive gems were added too. The words were stamped, matted on some of the two tone mirror card and applied as shown ....
The back of the tin was embellished with some die-cuts to finish .....
