A simple card made recently ......
I cut a piece of smooth hot press 300gsm watercolour card and stamped this with a tree stamp (Crafty Individuals) in Archival black ink.
This was then watercoloured to attain a sunset behind the tree with a rather turbulent sky. Once dry I matted this on two complimentary colours of card to form a frame.
The sentiment was stamped and die-cut into a banner and applied at the base of the tree. The matts were then added to a 6 x 6 inch white card blank to finish ......

Extreme beauty here Sid, love the background a great stamp from CI, love it. Not sure what the difference between cold press and hot press paper is though, is one smoother than the other?
