Starry .....

A set of Twinchies made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Seeing Stars' ......

The bases were cut to 2 x 2 inches square from re-cycled food packaging. I then stamped the star in Versafine black ink on some lilac card and trimmed into 2 x 2 inch squares, applying to the bases.

I then added 3 mauve brads to each of the Twinchies, edged with dark blue Versamagic chalk ink. I coloured the stars with a violet Posca marker and added some violet drops and infilled the stars with Stickles violet & crystal glitter glue to finish ....

LIM Challenge #495.......

Hi there everyone, time again for another great Challenge over on the 'Less Is More' blog ...... this time you have a 'Colour' challenge for your CAS design. Always remember to follow the rules when entering ......

This is my card for the Challenge :

I used a 6 x 6 inch white card blank as the base. I then die-cut a stitched edge square from more white card. Onto this I stamped with stamps from 'Stampin' Up' in blue, pink & black Memento inks as shown.

The square was applied to the card front.

The sentiment was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink, die-cut out and matted onto black card to form a fine border and was added on foam pads to finish the card .....

CAS on Friday #269 ......

  It's time for another Challenge over on 'CAS on Friday' ....

This time the theme is:

'Animal'

You are invited to make a Clean And Simple card in the theme, following the challenge rules of course !

Here is my Design Team card for the Challenge:

All stamps are by Crafty Individuals ! I made a white card blank to 4 x 4 inches.

I then die-cut a stitched edge matt from more white card and stamped this in green Memento ink with the grass stamp.

I then stamped the Otter in sepia Archival ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out.

The sentiment was stamped on white card in black Versafine ink and again heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This was trimmed out and matted on dark green card.

The white base was added to the card blank and the otter added on foam pads followed by the sentiment to finish. Simple but effective I think ........

Hot ......

A set of Artist TRading Coins made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum in the colour theme of  'Yellow & Red' .....

I cut the bases to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging ...... and cut 3 same sized pieces of red card as the background. I stamped the background in Versafine black ink with a chequer stamp (Aall & Create).

I then chose a distressed circles stamp ( Tim Holtz/Stampers Anonymous) and stamped this three times on white card with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. These were trimmed out and coloured with Copic markers in red and yellow. The circles were applied to the backgrounds as shown and the backgrounds added to the bases.

I added some yellow adhesive gems and edged with dots with a yello Posca marker to finish the ATC's ....

Leaves ......

Here are a set of three Artist Trading Coins made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inch circles from re-cycled food packaging. I then made a Gelli Print and cut three circles from this to fit the coins. They were stamped with moonlight white Brilliance ink and added to the coins.

The leaves were die-cut and layered & the fir fronds too. They were added to the Coins and the leaves edged with white Posca marker.

Each coin was embellished with pink and blue adhesive gems and edged with more white Posca pen to finish ......

Face ......

A set of Inchies - 1 x 1 inch decorated squares made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were punched from re-cycled food packaging and covered in printed background paper.

I then stamped the womans face in black Versafine ink and die-cut this in a heart shape using Tim Holtz dies. I backed each with a slightly larger heart also die-cut from white card.

Each inchie was then decorated with the heart and a small violet gem before edging in red Versamagic chalk ink to finish ,,,,,

Christmas ......

Made a Christmas Card with dies and some stamping ....

I die-cut the layers from matt silver, white and blue glitter cards. I assembled the central square on foam pads.

The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This was matted on silver and added centrally on more foam pads ....

Hello ......

A card made recently almost in Halloween colours  .....

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank and cut a smaller square from white card. This was edged in purple Versamagic chalk ink. I the coloured this in a crescent with purple and orange Distress ink applied with a brush.

The leaves are all die-cut using a set of dies by Tim Holtz/Sizzix called 'Artsy Leaves' I cut some from matt silver card, black card and purple/orange Gelli print paper. The leaves were assembled and arranged in a rough crescent over the coloured background with some raised on foam pads. Once done the background was added to the card front.

The sentiment (Tim Holtz) was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card which was trimmed and matted on more of the Gelli background. This was added to the card on more foam pads to finish .....

This is my Design Team card for the Challenge:

I chose a 4 x 4 inch white card blank and a stamp from Paper Smooches. This was stamped directly onto the card front in yellow Archival ink, the suns rays were coloured with an orange Posca pen. The heart was stamped centrally in the middle of the sun in more yellow ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink as shown to finish the card ......

CAS on Friday #268 ......

  It's time for another Challenge over on 'CAS on Friday' ....

This time the theme is:

'Autumn'

You are invited to make a Clean And Simple card in the theme, following the challenge rules of course !

Here is my Design Team card for the Challenge:

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank .....

I die-cut a smaller stitched edge square from more white card an applied this centrally on the card front.

I then coloured some paper with watercolours and die-cut the four leaves. These were arranged on the matt with one on foam pads.

The word was stamped in black Versafine ink, trimmed out and matted on more of the watercoloured paper. It was added on foam pads as shown to finish the card .......
