Made a mailart postcard for a swap over in
UK Stampers Forum ..... it will travel 'naked' to the recipient at the end of the month.
Wanted to do a Vintage style so used re-cycled card base and Kraft card. The base was cut to 6 x 4 inches and made in two layers for strength.
I then stamped another panel with a brick stamp and Fired Brick Distress Ink and treated this with some clear heat embossing powder. This panel was applied as a seat to mount the Tim Holtz paper doll of a gentleman. I coloured this black & white image with some Copic markers to add interest.
The card background was sponged over a template with more blue Distress ink to add a sky effect.
The definition was stamped in Versafine black on light Kraft, trimmed out, edged with black and stuck in place.
Finishing touch was to edge the postcard with a hand drawn design in white Posca marker.
