This is my entry for the TMTA (Think Monday, Think ATC) challenge which this week is entitled 'Mother Nature' and which I am rather late in submitting.
I first prepared the background on white card using Distress inks in shabby shutters and pine needles blended in with cut'n'dry foam and spritzed lightly with water, blotting off excess water with tissue. I then stamped onto acetate with a bramble leaf stamp (anon), several times in Stazon ink in olive green, mustard, pumpkin and eden green overlapping to produce a pleasing effect. The acetate was trimmed to size and fixed, stamped side down, over the ATC background with 4 square copper brads to finish allowing the background to show through.
I wanted to produce a dreamy effect incorporating the glorious colours of Autumn as one of Mother natures astounding annual feats.
Hope you like the effect :-)
