Bunny ......

Made a little papercraft bunny construction gift box ......

I used a set of dies from Jaded Blossom to cut the box panels from printed heavyweight paper. The octagonal box comes in two parts which are put together to form the box which has an open top so you can but some chocolate etc. inside.

The face panel was die-cut from white card as were the eyes & pupils along with the nose and muzzle. I mounted them on the face panel on foam pads trapping some finely cut black card whiskers behind the nose. I also added some pink cheeks with chalk ink and my finger.

The ears were also die-cut and assembled before adding to the box behind the face panel. The bow was also die-cut and added as shown.

I added a die-cut handle to the box secured with brads to finish the cute box ......

Captivating .....

An Artist Trading Coin made to trade .....

The base was cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. The background is a Gelli print also trimmed to ATC size.

I stamped the background with a text stamp (Wendy Vecchi) in black Versfine ink. and added collage elements of stamps, torn book page & Washi tape. The flower was added and centred with a blue adhesive gem. Some circles were stamped in twisted citron Distress oxide ink. Some white lines were drawn with a white Acrylograph pen.

The word is made from Washi tape on white card .... trimmed and added with white baseline.

The backgroung was then added to the base and the whole was edged in dark blue Versamagic chalk ink to finish ......

CAS On Friday #252 ......

It's that time again for another fortnightly Challenge over on the CAS on Friday Challenge Blog ...

You are invited to join in with a Clean And Simple card of your own making in the theme and following the rules, of course .....

The theme this time is 'Friendship' and this is my Design Team card for the Challenge ..... hope you are inspired to enter the challenge ...

The card was made on a 6 x 6 inch white card base. The stamp of the three friends was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder andcoloured with Distress ink washes before trimming out and matting on black card to form a border.

I then took a die for the background (Stampin' Up) and cut out of black card applying across the card base. This was overlaid with the stamped image on foam pads.

The word was made from letters Washi tape where I have selected the letters and composed the word on white card. This was then matted on more black card and added as shown on more foam pads to finish the card .....

Graceful .......

An Artist Trading Card made to trade .....

The base is cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. The background was cut to the same size and was made from collaged printed papers .....

This was stamped with a womans face outline stamp in Versafine black ink and selectively coloured with Posca pens. Some gold foiled leaves on vellum were added.

The background was added to the base and the ATC was edged in metallic gold Washi tape. The word was trimmed and added being edged in black Micron pen to finish ......

Transforming .....

An Artist Trading Card made to trade ....

The base is cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging .....

The background is made from a Gelli print trimmed to the same size. This has been stamped with a flower stamp in colours of Chalk Inks and infilled with Acrylograph chalk pens. The leaves (Tim Holtz/Sizzix) were die-cut into the background and backed with brown Kraft.

The background was added to the card base and the word (made from trimmed Washi tape on white card) added and based with white chalk pen.

Three glitter dots were added and the ATC was edged in Krylon gold pen to finish .....

Radiance .......

Made an Artist Trading Card to trade ....

The base is cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled packaging. The background is made from Distress ink and water by smooshing white card into it.

I have than added more purple ink through a stencil at the bottom and used gold watercolour paints to add some shine at the top. Two pieces of purple spotty torn Washi tape were then added.

I then applied some white gesso marks with the edge of an old credit card.

The bulb was stamped in black Versafine ink on white card and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was coloured with a wash of yellow distress ink an added on foam pads to the card. A shadow was added with Inktense pencil and a waterbrush and a cord with a black Sharpie pen.

The background was added to the base and edged in purple Versamagic Chalk ink. The Washi tape word was added along with three purple glitter dots to finish the card .....

Hogs ......

Another Artist Trading Coin made to trade ......

The base is made form re-cycled food packaging and the background is a mixed media collage of printed papers. I have stamped the scratched at the bottom with a Tim Holts background stamp in Versafine black ink.

The number st the top are from a reel of transparent printed tape as is the 'H'.

The piggy and sentiment (Tim Holtz) were stamped in Versafine black ink and het embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and colouring with a pink Gelly Roll pen.

The images and sentiment were added to the card background and some more spots added at the bottom with the pen.

The background was stuck to the base, edged with Versamagic brick red Chalk Ink. The corners were rounded with a corner rounder to finish .....

Made a card using some more of my watercolour card background .....

The card base is a 5 x 7 ins white card blank. I trimmed the background to 4.5 6.5 ins and then stamped the hibiscus (Aall & Create) in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. The flower was then coloured with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush, spreading and mixing the colour. I added some metallic gold watercolour to the stamen.

I then chose a swirl stamp and stamped as shown in Arcival sepia ink. The sentiment (Stampin'Up) was stamped on white card in black Versafine ink, coloured with a Distress ink wash and die-cut before adding on foam pads.

The background was then matted onto brown Kraft card. I then added three blue glitter dots and a swirl made in a silicone mould with UTEE at the top to finish the card ......

Hoppy .....

Another Artist Trading Card made to trade ......

The base is cut from re-cycled food packaging and the base id collaged with torn pieces of inked papers. It has been stamped in Black Versafine Ink with a sunrise stamp (Tim Holtz) and some bubbles in green chalk ink.

I die-cut a strip in black card (Aall & Create) and applied centrally along with a selectively cut number five. A piece of Washi tape is at the top edge.

The bunny and sentiment (Tim Holtz) was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder, trimmed out and added to the card background.

The background was applied to the base and edged with green Versamagic chalk ink.

Final touches were to add three silver dots and to round the corners with a corner rounder ....

Floral .......

A Birthday card made recently ....

The base is a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I then cut a piece of white card to 5.75 inches square and die-cut a stitched edge aperture in the centre.

I then made a background with translucent acrylics (IndigoBlu) on a piece of wet watercolour card. Once dry I passed through an embossing folder to add some pattern. I cut a piece and applied to the back of the die-cut piece.

The leaves and flowers are all die-cut from pale green, turquoise and yellow cards. The flowers were centred with opposite coloured self- adhesive gems. They were added on foam pads in a pleasing arrangement at one corner of the aperture.

The 'Happy Birthday' (Stampin' Up) was stamped on blue card in Versafine black ink, die-cut and mounted on foam pads as shown.

The card was finished by applying the aperture front on foam pads on the card base ......
