Colorful .....

Made a Clean & Simple Christmas card .....

The base is a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I then die-cut a smaller stitched edge matt from white card.

I then stamped the trees in black Versafine ink and die-cut them out. They were then coloured with watercolour brush pens. I also die-cut some silver stars for the top of the trees from glitter card.

I arranged the trees and stars as shown on the background with some on foam pads. The words have been stamped on white card with Versafine black ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and edging in black. They were added to the matt.

The background was then added to the card blank on more foam pads to finish .....

Imagine ......

Made this collaged 5 x 5 inch card ....

The background was cut from a Gelli print and stamped with some crosses with a stamp and maroon Archival ink.

I took some chipboard and die-cut it, coloured with green Distress Oxide, stamped with flowers and matted this on some chevron paper. I took a piece of die-cut chipboard and coloured with green Distress ink and drew in some veins with Acrylograph pen.

The imagine tag was die-cut from maroon card and the word applied in the aperture. The tag was tied through with some fine ribbon.

I then applied the background onto a matt od violet card. added the floral piece. Applied the leaves on foam pads over this and the aperture tag on top of this on foam pads. The background was then added to the white card blank and three violet clear dots added to finish .....

Snowflakes ....

I made another mini File Folder Christmas card ....

This one contains three tabbed pages inside. The co-ordinating papers used throughout were from a paper pad.

The base was die-cut using dies from Tim Holtz/Sizzix from 'Specimen' Chapter 3. A window was cut in the front and paper inserted. The snowflakes are die-cut from silver mirri and papers and doubled up to decorate. The trees and snowflakes were stamped in black Versafine ink. The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, trimmed out and matted on paper and added on foam pads. A little Stickles glitter glue was added to highlight the trees.

Inside the folder are three tabbed pages held in place with silver Washi tape. Each was decorated with die-cut snowflakes and headed with die-cut numbers and words. All snowflakes were centred with a blue adhesive gem.

The folder was held together with a black bulldog clip to finish .....

A very Clean & Simple thanks card .....

The base is a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I have then die-cut a smaller stitched edge square from more white card.

I then stamped a solid background stamp at two of the edges in pale blue Memento ink. This was overstamped with a leaf stamp in black Versafine ink as shown.

The words were stamped on white card with black Versafine ink which was then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was trimmed out and applied to the matt.

The background matt was then applied to the card front on foam pads to finish ......

Filed .....

This is a different style of Christmas card I have made, it measures 3.5 x 5 inches .....

The base is a die-cut file folder (Sizzix/Tim Holtz) from white card, subsequently covered in printed paper. All was edged with green Chalk ink. The filed cut-out was die-cut and applied on the tab. I have then stamped the background with leaves and snowflakes with Archival and Versafine black ink. Some green Stickles glitter glue was added to the leaves.

I then applied some holly Washi Tape and edged with red Gelly Roll pen. The panel was die-cut and the jingle bell and ribbon stamped, cut out and applied to the panel on foam pads.

The words were stamped on white card in Versafine black ink, trimmed and matted on red card. Thie panel was added as shown.

The folder was completed with a small brass bulldog clip. You can add whatever you like in the folder so it is quite versatile and different .....

Pheasant ......

 Made a card today ......

I used a 6 x 6 inch white card blank as the base ....

I then made a background with a numbers stencil and Distress Oxides and this was edged in yellow Versamagic chalk ink. I then chose stamps from AAll & Create and stamped the pheasant in Versafine black ink onto the background. It was then stamped again and this time heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This was trimmed out.

The background image was coloured with various colours of Posca and Acrylograph pens. Overlaying the trimmed pheasant onto the background on foam pads. The pheasant was then grounded on some torn Washi tape.

I stamped a 'P' stamp in violet Distress Oxide a few times and also stamped the word on white card, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, trimmed out and matting on black card. This was added as shown on foam pads.

The background was then matted on pink, mauve and black matts before applying to the card base ....

Peace .....

My first Christmas card make of the year .....

I made the 4 x 4 inch card base from white card. I then die-cut a smaller stitched edge matt from more white card.

I die-cut stylized snowflakes (Tim Holts/Sizzix) from silver mirri card and silver glitter card, doubling up with different designs by gluing together. Each snowflake was centred with a blue adhesive gen before adding them to the matt as shown on foam pads .....

The matt was then added to the card front. I next stamped the word 'Peace' in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed out and edged with black ink before adding this as shown to finish the card .....

Very simple, but I like it .....

Made a Clean & Simple Card ......

I made the card base from white card and cut a piece of watercolour card which was treated with two colours of blue Distress Oxide ink applied with a soft brush. This was then spattered with water and allowed to activate before removing excess water with a piece of kitchen roll. This represented the sky. The panel was edged in blue chalk ink.

I then used a stamp from AAll & Create and stamped this in Archival black ink in the centre of the watercolour base. It was then stamped again on white card with Versafine black ink which was then heat embossed with clear powder. The balloon, basket & binoculars were twimmed out and coloured with Copics. The baloon panels were treated with Glossy Accents and when dry applied on foam pads over the original image. The binoculars added direct to the base.

I then chose some AAll & Create Washi tape and added this to white card, trimming out the words which were added as shown.

The base was matted onto green card to form a border and added to the card base. Three violet/blue sequins were added to finish the card .....

Would love to have a balloon ride ......

Boo .....

As we are nearing Halloween I have made another card .....

The card base is a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. The background was made on the Gelli plate using stencils and some AAll & Create stamps along with Versafine Clair inks.

The main image is another AAll & Create stamp which was stamped directly to the background matt in Versafine black ink. Another was stamped on white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The pumpkins were coloured with Copics and trimmed out to be applied directly over the base stamp. I have die-cut a frame and applied this to highlight the image. I applied some torn Washi tape top and bottom and applied some white Gesso lines with a credit card.

The base was matted on orange card, edged with black ink and stuck in place on the card base to finish .....

Booo !!!!

Frightful......

Made this Halloween card for a challenge over at CountryView Crafts .... whose theme is Halloween or Harvest this month .....

I used a 6 x 6 inch white card blank as the base. The whole card is collaged using old Graphic 45 printed materials including stickers, papers, images & chipboard. The set was called 'Steampunk spells'.

I added some yellow faceted adhesive gems and some orange sparkly gems. The collaged items have been edged with mid brown Versamagic Chalk Ink .....
