Pink & Blue ....

Made a card featuring an ATC topper ....

The base is a Kraft card base ... the ATC is made from copy paper stamped with a flower stamp made from die-cut foam and stamped in Distress Ink.  This has bee applied to a 2.5 x 3.5 base of re-cycled packaging.

The flowers have been coloured with Posca pen and a piece of Washi tape added. The vintage photo image is a TH 'Paper Doll' wrapped around with pink metallic thread held in place with a mini pink flower gem. The ATC was edged in more Posca ink and onto the card with foam pads.

Rosy ....

Made a couple of foam stamps using some rose dies ....  I have then used them to make a mailart postcard for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

I cut some white card to 6 x 4 inches and coloured with blended Distress inks in Worn Lipstick and Fired Brick, splashing with water and lifting some colour.

I then used the foam stamps with Versamark ink and a number of iridescent metallic heat embossing powders to make the design as shown. A die-cut insect (made from foil paper, stamped with black Stazon) and a printed word, edged with Brilliance ink.

The card was strengthened by layering on re-cycled packaging and finished by edging with gold Krylon pen before spraying with acrylic sealant to protect through the post.

Foam ....

We have a Challenge this month over on UK Stampers Forum where we are to make a stamp from foam using a die to cut it. Then make something using the stamp .... this is mine ....

I used 3 mm thick fun-foam and die-cut this with the flower die which I then glued to a piece of thick black card as a base. It cut very easily.

I then dug out my Adirondack inks and inked the stamp with wild plum ink and stamped 3 times onto a piece of white card.  I then used a waterbrush and spread the ink.  I then used butterscotch and denim inks to make washes to produce a background.  Once happy I dried with a heat gun, trimmed out and matted onto black card, sticking onto a fuschia coloured card base on foam pads. A small amount of Stickles glitter glue was applied to the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder on black card.  This was trimmed out and applied as shown on more foam pads.

Great idea to make extra stamps from your dies.  If you fancy joining in do click HERE to join the Forum ... we are Fun, Friendly & Fun .... all are welcome !!!
