Tri-colour ......

I started  with a 5 x 7 ins white cardblank......this is my entry into the Less Is More Challenge #423

I then cut a 4.5 x 6.6 ins matt from white card and used a set of grunge stamps (Stampin' Up) to stamp in Memento grey flannel, Archival Vibrant Fuschia, Yellow Colorbox Chalk ink as shown.

The sentiment was then stamped in black Archival and heat embossed with clear detail embossing powder.

I finally added some Glossy Accents to the fuschia inksplats and mounted the matt onto the card blank with foam pads.

Vision .....

This card is made on a 7 x 7 inch white card blank......

The base is a Gelato background which has been treated with some gloss gel medium (first coloured with Gelato) through a stencil. When dry the background was stamped at the base with some grass & birds (PaperArtsy) in green Archival ink. Some areas were highlighted with a black Posca pen.the whole background was edged in turquoise Chalk ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The eye (Visual Image) was stamped in Archival black ink, trimmed out and coloured with watercolour brushpens. The word Vision (Visual Image) was selectively inked in Archival black and stamped onto the background. The eye was then applied on foam pads.

The background was then matted onto some turquoise card and the whole applied directly to the card base to finish ....

Pink .....

Recently made a male version of this card so decided to do a feminine version .....

Went for pink instead of brown this time as I know Doc Martin does a pink version of their boots .....

I started with a 5 x 5 inch white card blank and die-cut a white circle which I edged in pink Colorbox chalk ink. Onto the circle I stamped a set of footprints ( Art Journey) in pink Archival ink. I applied a strip of pink Washi tape across the cardblank and adhered the circle as shown.

The boots (Art Journey) were stamped in more pink Archival ink and trimmed out. I used a Posca pen on the laces and a black micron pen to add some eyelets and treated with some Glossy accents. The sentiment (Art Journey) was also stamped on white card with pink Archival ink, trimmed and edged with chalk ink and the OO's coloured in Posca. The boots and sentiment were applied on foam pads and three black sequins were added to finish the card ....

Life Happens .....

I recently found a set of Colorbox chalk inks and wanted to make a card using these as they dry with a matt finish and are quite pastel in colours.

I took a 5 x 5 inch square white base and die-cut a smaller matt in more white card. I then used a number of stamps (Dina Wakley) and a selection of the Chalk inks to stamp onto the white matt, mixing colours and overstamping. Just one image was stamped in Versafine black ink.

I used a black Posca pen to highlight parts of some of the numbers and edged the matt with mauve chalk ink.

The sentiment ( Hot Off The Press) was stamped in dark pink chalk ink on a piece of pink check paper in Versamark ink which was then heat embossed with fine clear embossing powder. This was matted onto some mauve card. The finished panel was applied to the cardblank and the sentiment added on foam pads to finish.

Liking the matt finish and have now used those long unused chalk inks too !

Quirky Feathers .....

A set of ATC's made after being inspired by Kate Crane.  The backgrounds are made with a Gelli Plate.  The feathers are diecut and coloured with Chalk inks and the whole lot decorated with watercolour brush pens, white pigment marker, stamps in various inks & gold paint.

Really enjoyed making them too !
