An Artist Trading Coin made to to rade or swap .....

I started with a die-cut circle of re-cycled packaging and covered this with some black leather texture card. I added sone diamonds through a stencil with texture paste and edged these with some gold Posca pen.

I stamped some numbers and letters in gold Brilliance ink and added a die-cut swirl which had been coloured with watercolours.

The Coin was edged in gold Krylon along with a piece of Washi tape and a word to finish ... anyone like to trade with me please email me .... link in sidebar of the blog !

Poem .....

An Artist Trading Coin made to swap or trade .....

I used a die-cut circle of re-cycled food packaging and covered with a piece of Gelli printed paper made with a stencil and Distress Oxide washes. this was treated with some Acrylograph pens and a printed sentiment was added and edged with black Micron pen.

The butterfly (My Favourite Things) was stamped and diecut and appled as shown onto the coin to finish ..... If anyone would like to trade this coin please email me ..... link in sidebar ....

Pheasant ......

A mailart postcard made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

I used a piece of background card made using Brusho powders. This was trimmed to size and stamped directly in Versamark ink the pheasant (AAll & Create) which was heat embossed with white embossing powder and was coloured with Acrylograph pens and edged with black Micron pen.

I then stamped the word (AAll & Create) directly on the card in Versafine black ink. I added some gold lines with Posca pen and also grounded the pheasant image. Some gold spatters were also added. The card was edged with black soot Distress Oxide and was then matted onto a piece of white card to add a border.

The postcard was then sprayed with matte acrylic sealer to protect it through the post as it will travel 'naked' through the mail ......

Cats .....

Made a card with fun and quirky cat stamps of Syd & Albert from Crafty Individuals .....

I stamped the main image twice on white card with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

One whole image was cut out and I fussy cut the two cats which were coloured with Distress oxide washes and a waterbrush, gold spots were added to one cat ...... I added white eyes with a Posca pen and covered the eyes and the eyepatch with Glossy Accents.

The purple cat was applied directly to the main image and the stripey cat was applied on foam pads covering the original image. Some more white penwork was added.

This was then applied to a white card blank. The sentiment was stamped on a die-cut piece of black card in Versamark ink and was heat embossed with Wow white embossing powder.

The sentiment was added on foam pads as shown to finish the card ....

Beauty ......

Made a card with All & Create stamps & Washi tape .....

I used a white card base and die-cut a white matt with a stitched edge which was applied to the card base. I then die cut another smaller piece and used Shabby Shutters and Walnut Stain Distress inks in a wash on this.

I then stamped the leaves (AAll & Create) twice in Versafine black ..... once on the smaller matt and once on a piece of white card. Both were theat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then fussy cut out the leaves and coloured them with Distress Ink washes and Glossy Accents before applying over the original stamped image on foam pads. Two pieces of torn Washi Tape (AAll & Create) were applied along with 4 little decorative leaves on Glossy Accents. This plate was then matted on black card to form a border.

The printed quote was trimmed and matted on lime and black cards and applied on foam pads as shown under the main plate which was also mounted on foam pads to finish the card ......

Love .....

Made an ATC on a re-cycled corrugated cardboard base .....

The cardboard was trimmed to 2.5 x 3.5 inches and covered with a torn piece of Gelli print. This was decorated further with gold pen and white posca pen. The card was edged with Green Versamagic chalk ink and black posca Pen.

The hearts and word (AAll & Create) were stamped in Vesafine Clair and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and decorating with watercolours, gellyroll pens and adhesive gems.

The hearts and word were attached (one on foam pads) and two pieces of torn Washi tape added to finish ......

Heart ......

Made a very bright tag today using stamps from AAll & Create .....

The background was made on the Gelli Plate using acrylic paints and various mark making tools .... this was trimmed to size. I then stamped the heart with Versafine black ink on more Gelli printed paper, trimmed this out and applied as shown. I edged the heart with black Inktense pencil and a waterbrush.

The word was stamped in more Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed out and applied on foam pads.

I then added some white lines with a Posca pen and some numbers from some AAll & Create Washi tape .... I punched a hole and applied a black eyelet with the Crop-a-Dile nd threaded through with some black Grossgrain ribbon and added some pink and black sequins on Glossy Accents to finish ....

Made a card using stamps from Lynne Perrella (PaperArtsy) ......

The card base is white and 6 x 6 inches square. I cut a smaller square from more white card and stamped this with a decorative edge stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossing this with black embossing powder . The white was then matted on black card to form a border.

The main image was stamped on white card with Versafine black ink and this was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. It was fussy cut out and coloured with watercolours and artquest mica paints. I used Glossy Accents on the ladies cheeks .....

This was then applied on the plate with foam pads. The word was also stamped in Versafine black ink on white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder, matted on black card and again applied on foam pads.

The plate was attached to the card front and three black sequins added with Glossy Accents to finish the card ......

Hello ......

Made a card with mainly die-cuts today ....

The black circle was die-cut and decorated using a Gelli plate print with bubble wrap .... it was edged in orange Versamagic Chalk ink. I then die-cut some flowers and the word from some printed paper.

The flowers were assembled and finished with an orange adhesive gem intheir centres. I added a piece of torn Washi tape and stuck the work in place (edging with white Posca pen). The butterfly (My Favourite Things) was stamped and die-cut and applied as shown.

The circle was mouted on a square mat of orange card and subsequently on black card to form a border. The panel was then applied on foam pads to the 6 x 6 inch white card base to finish ......

Arch ......

This Gothic Arch Triptych has been made for a Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The base material is waste food packaging cut to shape using a template and attaching the two sides with adhesive tape at the back. The wings allow for the Triptych to stand for display .....

I have cut some printed weathered wood paper (Crafty Individuals) to shape and applied over the base card. I added some strips of Washi tape on each panel.

I then selected some Lynne Perrella stamps (PaperArtsy), stamped them with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. These were trimmed out and watercoloured with Distress Inks with a waterbrush along with some gold penwork.

The three panels were applied as shown and the three rosettes  on foam pads. I then decorated further with some white Posca lines and black sparkly gems to finish ......
