Made this card for the Less Is More Challenge blog ........

The card was made on a 5 x 5 inch white card blank and I cut a smaller matt of white card.

The parcel was made from Kraft card cut into a rectangle, passed through an embossing folder, tying with red, white & green bakers twine and tying in a bow. I layered this on green and red card to frame.

The word was stamped directly to the white matt in Versafile black ink. The matt was applied to the card base and the parcel added as shown to finish .....

Barn ......

Made a card with the Tim Holtz Nordic die set ......

The card base is a white 5 x 5 inch cardbase. I then cut a white matt and stamped a scribly stamp in blue Memento ink to act as the sky. The matt was passed through the Sizzix in a snow embossing folder and matted onto black card to form a fine border.

The die-cut elements were cut from white, black, two greens, kraft, gold glitter, red flock cards. Applied as shown (some on Foam pads) and decorated with a white pen to add some snowy effects.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black on white card, matted on more kraft and added on foam pads to finish .....

Loving the Scandi look and it's a bit different .....

Tree ......

This Christmas card was made on a 4 x 6 inch white card base. I then cut two white card matts and applied the die-cut Christmas tree onto the matts. adding some red dots of Posca and Stickles red glitter glue to the star.

The holly embellishments were die-cut from coloured cards and added as shown along with white and black Posca. The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine on white card, trimmed and matted on red card to form a border before adding as shown on foam pads.

The matts were then applied to the card front to finish ..... Still like traditional Christmas colours too !

Joy ......

Made this Christmas card recently ....

The base is a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller matt from Kraft card and cut an oval die-cut aperture from more Krfat card and an oval of printed paper. An oval was also cut from blue glitter card.

The deer was stamped in black Versafine and was heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out.

The layers were added to the card front as shown with the Deer on foam pads. The sentiment was stamped in black Versafine, matted on blue glitter card and added on foam pads to finish .....

Trees .....

A simple Clean & Simple card made on a white 5 x 5 inch card base......

The trees were stamped onto white card with Versafine black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The image was trimmed and matted on black card to form a border. some dots of glue with iridescent glitter were added,

The sentiment was stamped in more Versafine black ink, matted and trimmed on black card. The main panel and the sentiment were added to the card base on foam pads to finish .....

Holly .....

A card made for a Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of Red, White & Green .....

I have used  7 x 5 inch white card blank as the base and layered onto this an embossed white and a black matt.

I then used a set of stamps (Stamplorations) to stamp holly leaves and berries in Memento black ink. These were coloured with Copic markers and a Molotow white pen and trimmed out.

These were arranged (some on foam pads) as shown on the snowy matt. The panel was applied to the card blank. The sentiment (Stamplorations) was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder, before trimming and matting on more black card. This was attached on foam pads to finish the card .....

Scandi .......

Made this Scandi influenced Christmas card .....

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank and made a background snowy layer with an embossing folder (Stampi'Up).

The design is die-cut (Tim Holtz - Sizzix) from white, and green cards along with some blue glitter card.

The design was put together as shown on foam pads and the card finished with a stamped mini-tag .....

Silhouette .....

Made this card for the 'Less Is More' Challenge blog .....

I started with a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I then stamped a horizontal lines stamp (Stampin' Up) in Archival Sepia ink.

I then stamped the Coffee Cup silhouette in Versafine black on white card and heat embossed this with clear embossing powder. It was trimmed out and applied over the lines as shown.

I then stamped three coffee beans and coloured with walnut stain Distress Ink and a waterbrush.... these were trimmed out and applied as shown to finish the card ....

Stars ......

Another Christmas card made on a 5 x 5 inch white card base .....

The stars were stamped in Versafine black on kraft card and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out. The holly was die-cut from white and kraft cards.

The background is printed paper over kraft card. There is a strip of poinsettia white flock vellum on the right over which the sentiment (stamped in Versafine black and matted on kraft) was added on foam pads. Some of the elements were added on foam pads to add depth and the card finished with red stickles glitter glue to act as holly berries .....

Red .....

This card was made on a 6 x 6 inch white card blank ....

I cut a piece of red flock card and matter this on a slightly larger square of black card to form a border.

Next I took a piece of metallic card and die-cut the frame which was then passed through a matching embossing folder to add shape. The stag was stamped on white card in Versafine black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out. The tag was stamped and trimmed in more black ink before trimming out.

The card was then assembled with the red & black matt first followed by the die-cut embossed frame. The stag was applied on foam pads and the tag tucked in below the stag to finish ..... love that red !

Vintage .....

A set of 3 'Vintage' Artist Trading Cards made on a stripes background for a swap on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases are corrugated cardboard made from food packaging and cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches. I cut some stripey kraft card and covered them with this. I then uses a letter collage stamp with Versamark ink and heat embossed with three colours of embossing powder.

The other elements are from Tim Holtz papers collaged and with some Glossy Accents and edged with Aged Mahogany Distress ink.

The ATC's are edged with black and brown sqyugly lines and some white Tombow pen to finish .....

Holly......

I don't often do large cards but this is a big one made on a 7 x 7 inch white card blank ......

The holly sprigs were die-cut from white and kraft card and were arranged to form a wreath shape. The outer holly leaves were raised on foam pads and the central sprigs attached with glue (covered by the centre).

I then die-cut the central circle from more kraft card and layered this with red flock card and a central circle of kraft which was stamped with the greeting in Versamark ink and heat embossed with detail white embossing powder .... the central panel was then added on more foam pads.

Final touches were to add some red adhesive pearls as holly berries .....

Bauble .....

 

FRONT

Made a Christmas bauble from a plastic Petri Dish ...... this is being entered into the Country View Crafts Challenge for November whose subject is 'Christmas Gifting' ......

The Petri dish is 2.5 inches in diameter and comes in two pieces a bottom and a lid (which overlaps the bottom).

I decorated the bottom first by cutting a piece of double sided printed paper to fit inside the bottom, and adding a number 25 to show through at the back. With the lid off I then added the printed penguin and snowflake added on foam pads with the 'Ho Ho Ho' added as shown.

Next I added some artificial snow and put the lid in place to make a 'shaker'. I then cut a piece of white and red bakers twine and knotted it at one end leaving a little spare. This was carefully attached at the top with hot glue to form a hanger.

I then cut a piece of red/white thick pipe cleaner to encircle the dish. This was carefully applied with hot glue, sealing the dish top to the bottom and attaching the pipe cleaner at the same time.

I then cut more twine, tied in a bow and added this with hot glue to cover the pipe cleaner join to finish ....

BACK

This makes a super little hand-made gift and tree decoration .....

Stag .....

A simple but effective Christmas card .....

The base is a white 5 x 5 inch card base. I have chosen a piece of printed paper, trimmed it and matted on black card to form a border. This was applied to the card front.

The stag was stamped on white card with Versafine black and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and applying on foam pads as shown.

The words are die-cut from more black card and applied as shown to finish .....

Joy.....

 My first Christmas card make of 2021 ........

I used a 5 x 5 inch white card blank as the base. I then cut a small square from white card and passed this through the Sizzix with a snow embossing folder. This was amtted on black card to form a border.

The fir twigs and pinecones were all stamped on card in Versafine clair ink and trimmed out. The Poinsettias were stamped on white card with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out and colouring with watercolours and Posca markers.

All elements were assembled on the snowy square with some on foam pads as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, again matted on black card. The panel was applied as shown on foam pads to finish the card ......

Flourish .....

A set of inchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

These 1 x 1 inch arty tiles have been made on a Brusho background coloured with yellow and grey and edged with grey Inktense pencil,and a waterbrush.

The central panels (Crafty Individuals) were stamped and trimmed to fit within the Inchies leaving a border. They have been coloured with Gold Posca, Acrylograph pen and watercolour, each being heat embossed with clear embossing powder to finish.

Mistletoe ......

Made this CAS white-on-white card for the Less Is More Challenge ........

The card base is 6 x 6 inches square. The mistletoe spray was die-cut from white card and white pearls added on the berries.

The sentiment (Stampin' Up) was stamped in Versafine black on white card, trimmed and matted on more white card.

The mistletoe was added on foam pads and the sentiment stuck in place as shown to finish the card ....

Welcome to NOVEMBER !!!! 😀

A set of 'Twinchies' made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum ....

The theme is Butterflies this month and I have cut 4 2 x 2 inch squares from black card as a base. The overlays are made from printed papers (Crafty Individuals) which have been trimmed to a smaller size, stamped with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

The background is added to the base and the butterflies are also trimmed from printed images and applied with top wings on foam pads to add dimension.

Finishing touches were to add 3 coloured self-adhesive gems to each Twinchie ....
