Leafy .....

Made a Birthday card with a background of real leaves made on the Gelli Plate after being inspired by a tutorial by Teresa Morgan ......

The background was trimmed to 5 x 5 inches and two more leaves trimmed out to layer later.

The background was ,atted onto Orange and black cards to form a fram and the two trimmed pieces added on foam pads.

The sentiment is die-cut from more orange card and applied as shown. The layers were then added to a 6 x 6 inch white card blank to finish .....

Pumpkin .....

 

A card made mainly with AAll & Create stamps & Washi tape .......

I started with a white card blank, I then cut a smaller matt from white card and stamped the pumpkins in Versafine black ink. I then stamped another image on another piece of white card and heat embossed this with clear embossing powder. The embossed pumpkins were trimmed out and coloured with distress Ink washes and a waterbrush.

The larger matt was coloured with Distress Oxide washes made with Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade and Antique Linen after applying to a piece of acetate and adding water before smooshing until happy with the effect. I stamped this with a number of other stamps and Archival ink around the edges. Some Washi tape torn strips were added at the edges.

The coloured pumkins were then added over the original and given a shadow with Inktense pencil and waterbrush. The background was matted on an orange card matt and then a black card matt. Two printed letter circles were added along with some orange seed beads and green glass beads applied on Glossy Accents. The words were stamped again and trimmed out and applied onto the coloured pumpkins edging with black micron pen.

Finally the matts were applied to the card blank to finish .....

Made a card after watching a tutorial from Jean of Crafty Individuals ......

The base is a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I have then cut a base from greyboard to 5 x 5 inches and covered with printed papers from Crafty Individuals. I chose two postage stamps and applied to the layer, stamped with a frank stamp in blue Versafine Clair and added three blue staples. The layer was edged with more of the Versafine Clair ink.

It was matted onto some dark blue card and applied to the card base. The sentiment was stamped onto white card in more Versafine Clair twilight ink, and matted onto blue card before trimming out and adding on foam pads as shown to finish .....

Memories .....

A card made on a black card blank ....

The star was made from an alcohol ink Gelli Print and was die-cut with a star die. I also cut a pale blue car start which was slightly larger. I mounted the print on the larger star and the added some black Posca pen dots around the star.

I then selected and coloured with Copic markers a Tim Holtz paperdoll. The star was applied to the card blank and the paperdoll was applied on foam pads.

The sentiment was stamped on white card with Versafine black ink, trimmed and mounted on a blue card background before applying on more foam pads and a few blue self adhesive star gems added to finish .....

Perfect ......

A card made on a 5 inch white card blank .....

The circle was made with alcohol inks on a Gelli plate using a stencil ..... I edged the print with black Posca marker to frame. The leafy twig was die-cut from black card, stamped with a text stamp in Versamark and heat embossed with clear embossing powder (not easy to see in the photo !) ....

I selected a Tim Holtz paperdoll and coloured with purple and black Posca marker. The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black on white card and edged with more purple Posca marker.

The card was then assembled by adding the circle in the centre, then adding the leafy twig and finally the paperdoll and sentiment on foam pads. The paperdoll was grounded on grey Inktense and a waterbrush and edged with more of the same to add a shadow .....

Autumnal .....

Made a card for the Less Is More Challenge ....... 

I used a 6 x 6 inch white card blank as the base. The leaves were stencilled with two shades of green Distress Oxide inks.

I then stamped a skeleton leaf in sepia Archival ink as shown and infilled with orange, yellow and green Posca pens.

The card was finished by scoring a couple of lines with the scoreboard to enclose the design and the word Autumn stamped in black Versafine ink .....

Batty ......

A Mailart postcard made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The background is cut from re-cycled food packaging and covered with a background made on a Gelli plate.

The background has been stamped with a fence in Archival black and decorated with stickers and a stamped chandelier.

The words have been stamped in Versafine Clair, heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming and applying as shown to finish ....

Autumn .....

Made a card with Autumn Colours as my entry into the Country View Crafts October 2021 Challenge ....

I used a 4 x 6 inch white card as the base and then cut a larger green matt from printed paper and a smaller matt from orange card.

I then chose some leaf dies and cut a number of leaves in more printed papers which were edged with sponged walnut stain Distress ink along with the edges of the orange matt. A have used an acorn and leaf stamp with Versamark and stamped some watermarked images as shown.

The leaves were then added in a cascade down the left hand side of the orange matt with some foam pads to raise some of them. The orange matt was them matted on the green matt.

The sentiment was stamped on white card with Archival sepia ink, edged in more of the same ink and matted these on more green paper. The words were added on foam pads as shown.

I then added some orange seed beads and some green and orange sequins to embellish. The matts were then applied to the card base to finish .....

Skulking .....

Made a card for a 'Halloween' Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum ......

I started with a 6 x 6 inch sqaare white card base. I then made a coloured background with Black Soot & Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide inks, by smooshing through the water sprayed inks on a non-stick craft matt. This was dried and stamped with the barbed wire and chandelier stamps in Versafine black, edging with white Posca pen.

The blood drips are watered down red acrylic paint added to the matt with a pipette at the top and allowed to drip  down before drying.

The scull was made with paperclay and a mold, coloured with ivory acrylic paint and with a couple or red adhesive gems in the eye sockets.

At this stage the background was matted onto black card and then to the card base. I added the skull and the stamped greeting on foam pads which was stamped in Versafine Clair tulip red and heat embossed with clear embossing powder to finish ....

Breathe ......

This card was made for the Less Is More Challenge .....

It has been made on a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I cut a 4 x 4 inch matt and then die-cut some circles from yellow and purple card. I interleaved the circles and decorated with dots of purple and yellow Posca pen before applying on the matt. The matt was edged in yellow Versamagic chalk ink.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black ink and die-cut. It was again edged in yellow chalk ink. The matt was applied to the card base and the sentiment applied on foam pads to finish this simple card ....

Filigree .....

 

Made a set of 4 'Twinchies' for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme 'Pink & Green' .....

The 2 x 2 inch bases were cut from re-cycled food packaging and covered with some printed background paper.

These were then stamped with a flower and leaf stamp in Versafine Clair inks. I then die-cut the pink overlays from pink pearlescent paper and applies as shown edging in pink Sharpie pen. Some areas of the overlays were infilled with green Posca pen.

Each square was then edged with pink Versamagic chalk ink along with some dots of pink Stickles glitter glue to finish ......

Colours ......

A set of Artist Trading Cards made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases are made from re-cycled packaging and covered in a background of watercolour card and coloured inks.

They have been stamped with some leaf stamps (Crafty Individuals) in Versafine black and Sepia Archival inks. The words are also from Crafty Individuals, stamped on white card and applied as shown.

I have added some orange Posca pen, a self-adhesive number and edged the ATC's with brown Inktense pencil spread with a waterbrush. The seedhead has some Glossy Accents added to add shine !

Autumn .....

Made a set of Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ....

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inches in diameter and covered in a yellow distressed Gelli print. They were flicked with green Posca and stamped with Versafine black ink. The edges were decorated in green and orange Posca pen.

The leaves were die-cut from a watercoloured background and attached as shown highlighting with more orange Posca pen. Printed words on green tape were applied as shown.

The coins were edged in Krylon gold pen to finish .....
