Made this card for the Less Is More Challenge ....... I wanted to use traditional Christmas colours on this .......
I used a 4 x 4 inch white card blank as the base and die-cut a slightly smaller stitched edge square in white card.
I then took some more white card and covered in AAll & Create Washi tape, die-cutting a tree design and backing with red card. I then die-cut a stitched edge star from gold glitter card.
The sentiment was stamped in Versafine black and backed with more red card.
The tree was attached to the square matt along with the star and sentiment and the matt applied to the card base on foam pads to finish the card .....

I love that die cut, and what a great idea to use washi tape in that way. Wonderful CAS card. Thanks so much for playing our Christmas In July challenge at Less Is More.
ReplyDeleteFantastic card, and such an imaginative use of the washi tape - the Christmas colours really zing together. Thanks for playing along with us at Less is More.
