Here is a shot of my desk taken this morning just to show you the shambles that it is ! I try to tidy but all I seem to do is move stuff around..........does that sound familiar?
Anyway I have not taken part in WOYWW for a while and for those that know me, my desk always looks like this. To see others (more tidy) desks go to the lovely Julias blog where all will be revealed.

Well I am glad I am not the only one with a desk in shambles - still it is looks very creative and I admire all your lovely art! The only problem with us untidy crafters is we must make an effort to find space to craft! :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Cardarian
Yep, looks familiar! Is that a Tando chippie ink storage rack I spy just peeping in on the right hand side?

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing your creative space Sid! Hey everything is within arm's reach, right? I even named my blog Diary of a Craft Room Transformation, but not much transforming going on, just creating!
ReplyDeleteLove it. They do say a messy desk is the sign of a creative mind! Well, that's my story and I'm sticking to it!
ReplyDeleteMary Anne
What desk?.......I can't see no desk!
ReplyDeleteI feel quite at home! lol - my desk usually looks like that and playing on Julia's WOYWW which I've only recently joined has helped me to keep a handle on making it more presentable! Otherwise my workspace is usually reduced to about 6 sq inches - and that's pushing it!!! Elaine #19
ReplyDeleteYeah! go Sid... that's one great mess and you should be proud of it!
ReplyDeleteJoZarty x
Sid, that is one fabulous desk, I love it!
ReplyDeleteLin
I feel so much better now, Sid. I'm not alone. I'm not alone, I'm not alone. I need to keep repeating that so I don't feel so overwhelmed when I see my counters, dining table, etc. It's all about the creative process. AND, when I do put everything in it's place, then I just have to pull it all out again. But, alas, I do from time to time just so I know where everything is!
ReplyDeletePerfect shambles I think your "desk" is related to mine lol
ReplyDeleteLooks just like my kitchen!!
ReplyDeleteLooks like a well-used work space !
ReplyDeleteMarilyn
My mess just moves around my room too. ;) Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteChrissy #95
Love your desk Sid. Looks a lot like my work area. Anyway, who can create anything with neatness and organization all around. I can't find anything when I do manage to get my space cleaned up. Keep up the good work.
ReplyDeleteCarole Miller
Sounds very familiar indeed ...one of my friends suggested me to start making post stamps - there´s no room for bigger works :)
ReplyDeleteI move things around too! But the difference is you've got a lovely big desk to move around in and I ha about a third of your space! Patsy from
ReplyDeleteHeARTworks
its not a shambles Sid its creative clutter but you know what you need to put art on that blank wall. Dont know if I am going to get cucumber sandwiches or champers tonight but if I drink my tea I will make sure I put out my little finger all posh..ha ha ha
ReplyDeleteLovely crafty chaos Sid! Lol!
ReplyDeleteoh my goodness Sid! It might look a shambles but what a fantastic shambles! Love it!!
ReplyDeleteHilarious Sid! Where do you actually craft - like the rest of us squeezed up into a tiny space? :) Thanks for calling by WOYWW. Still smiling here. Di x
ReplyDeleteWTG Sid! A decently messy desk for a change. I'm guessing you have a six inch square space to create in? Fab......
ReplyDeleteLooks like mine most of the time ;)
ReplyDeleteYour desk looks fantastic - a crafter's dream! I craft at the dining table so have to keep tidying mine away.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting me too this week
Amanda #48
The desk of a true artist! Just visited another of your blogs and with work like you create....who cares what your desk looks like!!!! Thanks for visiting.
ReplyDeleteMine is just like this. Usually I move bits out the way to find space for next project. Tidying takes time away from crafting.
ReplyDeleteAh yes Sid, this looks like a fab desk .... More of an explosion than a desk! You know what they say, tidy desk, messy mind :-)
ReplyDeleteoh to have access to all that crafting stuff on a desk at one time, lol.
ReplyDeletethanks for popping by earlier
caroline #12
Great shot of your desk Sid but I can feel my fingers itching to get in there and do a bit of tidying - where do you craft? I can't see so much as a square inch of clear desk from this angle, just lots of lovely crafting goodies. Have a great week and perhaps you'll tell us what's in the blue bag next week :) Elizabeth x #38
ReplyDeleteLove a good snoop. Lots and lots to see here. Whats in the blue bags sid? Mrs A. #128
ReplyDeleteHi Sid,
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog this week for WOYWW and for leaving your lovely comment.
Your desk looks a little bigger than mine and a ‘lot’ fuller. Lol! Mind you, judging by your wonderful creations you need every single thing that resides there.
Happy Crafting!

Sid your work is beautiful, am surprised I have only just come across your blog. Am also reassured that your desk looks just like mine!
ReplyDeleteOh yes ...a crafter I can identify with.... I have always been someone who moves things around rather than putting it away.
ReplyDeleteHad a browse through your past posts ...love what you have been doing ...the altering old paper was brilliant ...not sure why I never thought to do it as I have created my own paterned 12x12 from plain card stock ... occaisionally.
Thats almost the same as my table before i got me some storage lol.
ReplyDeleteLove it means youve been busy making stuff.
Kate x
By 'eck Sid! That is one impressively messy desk! Where do you actually do stuff? ;-)
ReplyDeleteYaah Sid you've made my day, I constantly move things around and get no where, craft room a constant tip, love yours cause it's just like mine. Happy crafting! Erika. x

Nice desk Sid! I personally subscribe to the push and pile style of rearranging. Sorry I am late getting around this week but I haven't felt well! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #36
ReplyDeletefor me that desk would be a home from home, glad my little video gave you a laugh...
ReplyDeleteI went to your old blog by mistake - love that background girl....
Dx
I know exactly what you mean! I tidy my desk but then have to get it all out again to make something, so what is the point?! lol! Your desk looks like the perfect creative space :-)
ReplyDeleteHugs xx
Hi there Sid, thanks for popping over.. laughed at what you said about swapping things around!! My next post on finished work will be Wed and YES it was done in time praise God! Happy 100 WOYWW! Shaz in Oz.x
ReplyDeleteThat is a seriously busy desk
ReplyDeleteThat is a very crafty and creative space you have! I think I may see the tiniest space under your lamp where you must do all your work :)
ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting me and thank you for sharing a peek at your space!
xoxo
Karen
And I thought it was just me that worked in controlled chaos!
ReplyDeleteMine is ALWAYS as messy as that! And i can never find anything- wonder why??
ReplyDeleteBlimey Sid.... that's an award winning messy desk for the century of WOYWW's!! Ummm, would it be rude to ask how and where you actually glue and stick stuff? I thought Julia was bad.... LOL Sorry I am so late this week, Annette #25
ReplyDeletewow, you have a lot of stuff there. My husband would have a fit if our shared desk ever got like that - that's why I have to keep tidy. Wish I could just leave stuff out and accessible.
ReplyDeleteHave you space to craft lol - love the thought of you just moving it all around to tidy sorry I am so late the time seems to have flown by again this week
ReplyDeleteA tidy craft desk doesn't represent a very creative personality. Or that's what I say to my husband anyway!
