Here is a card that I made for the 65th birthday of a relative of mine. I actually bought him a lovely watch as a pressy and thought something on the theme of time appropriate.
I used a plain white 5 x 5 inch card as a base and stamped around the edge with a stamp depicting the automatic winder from watches in black Stazon. Then I stamped a watch and clock collage stamp onto a piece of white card in black Stazon and matted this onto a piece of holographic card. The card was coloured by sponging with Ranger distress inks in weathered wood and shabby shutters before applying to the card. Two large watch face stamps were stamped with Versamark onto violet card and heat embossed with fine detail gold EP. These were cut out and mounted with foam pads onto the background mat. The words Tick, Tock were prepared and mounted in the same way after winding fine violet wire around them. Finally three red flat backed gems were added to simulate jewels in the watch mechanisms.

This is great! I love the colour of the watch faces.
