Florals .......

Made a tag for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The base is a piece of Kraft card from re-cycled food packaging, cut to size. I stamped the flowers (AAll & Create) in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder. I have used Worn Lipstick Distress Ink applied with a brush to colour the area around the image. The image was then coloured with Acrylograph pens. The panel was edged in pink chalk ink.

The panel was then matted on white card, trimmed and edged with green Chalk ink.

I added a gold eyelet with the crop-a-dile and threaded through with pink gingham and green grosgrain ribbons to compliment the colours of the tag.

The sentiment was stamped on white card with Versafine black in, heat embossed with clear embossing powder, trimmed and edged with more pink chalk ink. It was added at an angle as shown to finish the tag ......

Here is a card made for a 'Dry Embossing' Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum ..... thought something with a Valentines theme would fit nicely .....

The base is a white 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I then trimmed some white card and dry embossed this with a 'Hearts' embossing folder. This was then matted on some red card and a band of adhesive red satin trim added across. The base was then added to the card front.

I then stamped a heart (Aall & Create) in red Versafine Clair ink and heat embossed this with clear embossing powder, trimming out and matting onto black card. Some black pen was added and three black sequins. The heart was then added on foam pads as shown .....

The word (Aall & Create) was stamped in black Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear embossing powder and matted on red card. The word was then applied on more foam pads as shown to finish the card ....

CAS On Friday #249

 I am so pleased & excited now to be part of the Design Team for the CAS on Friday Challenge Blog !

This time the theme is 'Winter' .....

Hoping that you can join us and make a Clean & Simple Card (following the Challenge rules) and you have until 1st February 2023 to enter.

This is my card..... 

I started with a 5 x 5 inch white card blank. I then die-cut a square stitched edge square from white card and applied this centrally to the centre of the card front.

The image (Beth Hughes) was then stamped in Versafine black ink on white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. This was trimmed out and coloured with Acrylograph chalk pens.

The sentiment (Beth Hughes) was also stamped in black Versafine ink which again was heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming and matting onto red card.

The main image and sentiment were then applied to the card on foam pads as shown to complete the card ......

Hippeastrum .....

Just had to share this photo of a wonderful Hippeastrum gifted to us as a bulb for the New Year ! It grew rapidly and this flower head has 4 flowers on it ! There is another flower head ready to open too !

Nature is a fabulous thing !

Beautiful colours .... reminds me of Rhubarb & Custard 😀

Year ......

A set of Artist Trading Cards made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'The New Year' ..... They are very reflective but difficult to photograph !

The bases were cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then covered these with some multicoloured reflective foil.

The central panels were made from a piece of black card sprayed with violet iridescent spray and cut to 2 x 3 inches. These were die-cut with Tim Holts dies and applied over the backgrounds.

I then stamped a couple of stars in red Brilliance ink and added some white Posca dots.

Each of the ATC's were then edged with red Posca pen to finish .......

Coins ......

 

Made a set of 3 Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inches in diameter from re-cycled food packaging. They were then covered with background papers made with stamps, paint and inks with some stencilling. Wanted to keep these coins very pastel colours ......

I then added some stamped leaves in matching colourways with Distress and Memento inks. I then added some silver crackle paste through a stencil and allowed to dry. Each Coin was edged in Chalk Ink.

The words are from some Washi tape from Mama Makes and I have added a sequin to finish each Coin.....

Floral ......

A set of 4 Twinchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were cut to 2 x 2 inch squares from re-cycled food packaging. These were covered with some grey ditzy flower printed paper and was edged with a Chrome wavy line applied from a Molotow pen....

I then stamped a small drawn flower in Versafine ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Each was coloured with a Lyra brushpen before trimming out and applying centrally on each Twinchie.

I then applied Nuvo drops in gold to the centre of the flower and around the front of each Twinchie to finish .....

Bee ......

Happy New Year 2023 !!!! 

Made a set of Inchies for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .......

The bases are punched from re-cycled food packaging to 1 x 1 inches .... each has been covered with Printed Paers and stamped with a little bee stamp in Versamark ink which has then been heat embossed with metallic grey embossing powder.

Each Inchie was edged with black ink and three mini adhesive gems added to each to finish ....
