Circuit .....

Here is a tag I have made using mainly AAll & Create stamps .....

I started by stamping the image onto a Brusho backround and trimmed this out. I then selectively stamped the cards, bulb and words with Versafine black ink.  These were trimmed out, coloured and put aside.

I then cut a base from white card and used a numbers stamp to stamp the main colours on the background with various colours of Versafine Clair inks. I stamped also with a chevron stamp with more black Versafine ink. The tag base was also edged with colours in Versamagic chalk ink. I cut a hole and applied a black eyelet with the crop-a-dile.

The trimmed out piece was then stuck in place on the tag base.I then applied some marks with Posca pens and added a watch glass over some of the electronic circuits. A couple of black brads were added and the card elements were added next with some on foam pads. Some torn Washi tape was added, glossy accents were added to the bulb and a length of gold stretchy twine added through the eyelet and attached with staples to finish......

I then stamped a 'Phrenology' head stamp in Memento black and die-cut this before colouring with Copic markers. these were then applied centrally to the coin on foam pads. They are made with printed papers, heat embossing, stamped images & brads.  The bases are made from corrugated packaging which I have re-cycled.

The main image (Teesha Moore) has been stamped in Memento black ink and coloured with Copic markers.  I have outlined the eyes with silver pen and infilled with Glossy Accents before mounting on foam pads. The background is on printed text paper which has been stamped in Versafine ink and heat embossed with Moonglow embossing powder. A brad was added, doodling along the edge with purple Posca pen and edging with gold Krylon pen.

Love you ....

Made a 4 x 6 'Love You' card from a selection of desktop items that were close to hand ....

Started with a blue Distress Stain stencilled background which I stamped with some birds in Versafine black ink.  I also added some silver marks with a pen.  This was trimmed and matted onto black card and stuck in place on a white card blank.

The figures were stamped on watercolour paper previously coloured with watercolour brushmarkers, trimmed out and applied on foam pads.

The 'Love' was die-cut from pink paper and the 'YOU' stamped in Versafine black ink.

I added a blue paper flower and three flat metallic pink sequins to finish.

Coins... but not money .....

Here are a set of Artist Trading Coins entered in a Challenge over on the Country View Crafts Challenge Blog. I decided to use collage technique along with stamping, penwork & acrylic paints on these three coins.

I started with three die-cut circles cut to 2.5 inches diameter & made using card from upcycled cereal packaging. The card based were treated with white Gesso and brushed with Acrylic paints to form a background. I then collaged printed elements to form the main images and designs. Images were outlined in fine black Micron pen.

A lot of stamping with floral and swirls mini stamps was done in Archival black ink and these images highlighted with gold & silver pens.  I also used Posca markers to add some colour & white highlights. I then edged each coin with gold Krylon pen to finish.  May well mount the coins on laser-cut chipboard bases at a later date.

I love this messy, colourful, multi-layered style and find it very satisfying to create this way !
