Fruity ......


Made a set of Twinchies (2 x 2 inch decorated squares) for a swap in UK Stampers Forum in the theme of  'Orange, Lemon & Lime' .....

I cut the bases from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some orange, lemon and lime card and cut this to 1 x 1 inches adding the three colours to the bases.

I then found a citrus slice stamp and stamped this as shown in Versafine black ink onto each of the Twinchies adding some colour to the pips with brown Posca pen. I then added the sentiment also in Versafine black ink.

The Twinchies were then finished by edging with black ink ......

Square ......


A set of Inchies made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases were punched to 1 x 1 inch square from re-cycled food packaging. I chose some patterned paper and punches this to the same size.

Next I chose a stamp and stamped in pale purple Versafine Clair ink. I then added some purple colour with a sharpie pen and yellow from a Posca pen. The decorated paper was then applied to the bases and each edged with purple Versamagic chalk ink.

The Inchies were then given a coat of Glitz Spritz to add a sheen (can't be seen in the photo) to finish .....

Birdie ......


Made a set of Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

I die-cut the bases to 2.5 inches diameter from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some printed paper and die-cut this. I then applied the papers to the bases.

I was gifted a birdie die from a member of the Forum so chose some green paper and stamped this with Versafine black ink using a word stamp from 'Mama Makes'. I die-cut three birdies. These were added to the coins. I added a black eye and also some blobs of chunky green glitter glue.

I then a added a strip of thin Washi tape and embellished this with glitter cabochons in green.

Each of the Coins was then edged with a green acrylic brushpen to finish ......

Love .....


An ATC made for a swap over in Crafty Individuals Facebook Group in the theme of 'Love' .....

The base was cut to 3.5 x 2.5 from re-cycled food packaging ... I then chose some text printed background paper to the same size and applied this to the base.

I then looked into my mounted stamps and found this really old Crafty Individuals stamp (no number). I stamped this on white card with Versafine black ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The image was trimmed out and edged with black ink. This was then coloured with Distress ink washes and a waterbrush adding some spots on the girls top and a necklace. A yellow glossy cabochon was added to the hole in the tag. The tag was then added to the background.

I then stamped some red card with a shell stamp and die-cut a heart which was added as shown. The words 'with love' were stamped in red ink onto the tag as shown and the ATC edged with Krylon gold pen.

I then made a die-cut ATC holder with Sizzix/Tim Holtz from Kraft card to finish ....

Hoping the recipient likes the card .....

Spring ......


Made an ATC for a swap over on Crafty Individuals Facebook Group in the theme of 'Spring' .....

I cut some re-cycled food packaging to 3.5 x 2.5 as the base. I then chose some Crafty Individuals green printed background paper to the same size and added this to the base.

I then selected a stamp CI-555 and stamped this on white card with Versafine black ink, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. This was then trimmed down to slightly smaller to leave a border.

I coloured the background with a blue Distress Ink wash and added other colours with Posca pens before adding to the base.

The sentiment was stamped on white card , trimmed out and mounted on the same green background.

The sleeve (time Holtz/Sizzix) was die-cut from more text background paper to finish the ATC ...

Hope my swap partner likes it .....

Spring ......


A set of ATC's (Artist Trading Cards] made for a swap in UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Spring Colours'.......

The bases were cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I chose some background paper and trimmed to the same size.

I then die-cut three flower spikes (Tim Holtz/Sizzix Wildflower) from watercolour card and coloured this with watercolours before applying to the paper. The background was then applied to the bases.

I stamped some flowers in yellow Archival ink and added the stamens with Posca pen. I then added some yellow adhesive pearls to each card and finished by edging with orange Posca pen ......

Headspace.......

Made a set of Artist Trading Coins for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ........

I die-cut the bases from re-cycled food packaging to 2.5 inches diameter. I then covered some white card with strips of co-ordinating Washi tape which was then die-cut to the same size a s a base.

I then added some black Gesso applied with a palette knife through a stencil. Allowing the Gesso to dry completely.

I then chose an old 'Phrenology' stamp from 'A Stamp In The Hand' and stamped with blue memento ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder.  These were trimmed out and added with hot glue to the centre of each coin.

Each of the Coins was then edged with metallic gold marker to finish.....

A set of 'Spring Flowers' Twinchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I cut the twinchie bases to 2 x 2 inch square from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some background paper and cut to the same size and applied to the bases.

The daffodils were stamped in Versafine black ink and were then heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I then coloured them with Posca markers, trimmed in two and applied as shown.

I then stamped a swirly cloud stamp in Versafine blue ink and added some blobs of blue iridescent Stickles glitter glue.

The Twinchies were finished by edging in black ink .....

Alphas .......

 


A set of Inchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases were punched to 1 x 1 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then punched some white card to the same size.

I chose some Alpha stamps and stamped the letters from A to F in Versamark ink, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. This will act as a resist when coloured.

I next applied washes of Distress Ink in various colours with a brush and water.

The tops were added to the bases and each Inchie edged with metallic green Posca pen & some green Glitter Glue to finish .....

Specimen ......


Made a decorated tag for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

I wanted to make a design with lots of white space. I took some watercolour card and coloured with washes. I die-cut the stylised flower and added some more colour along with some gold highlights. adorning the centre with a purple clear cabochon.

I then cut the tag base from white card and cut a smaller matt which was stamped with Versafine Clair mauve ink. Both the tag and matt were edged with Versamagic chalk ink in mauve.

I then added the flower to the matt and applied the matt to the tag base. I added the die-cut word in black card. I die-cut a tag reinforcer from pink paper, cut a hole with the Crop-o-Dile and added some green fine woven ribbon to finish the tag .....

Bows ......


A set of 3 Artist Trading Coins made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases were die-cut from re-cycled food packaging to 2.5 inches in diameter. I then choses some background paper and die-cut to the same size. The background was added to the bases and they were stamped in three colours using Distress Oxide inks.

A piece of striped washi tape was added to each as shown. I then die-cut three bows from black card and applied as shown. I then added a metallic gold cabochon to each bow.

The Coins were finished by edging with gold pen .....

Twirls .....


A set of 4 Twinchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Swirls & Twirls' .....

I cut the bases to 2 x 2 inches from re-cycled food packaging and then cut some Gelli print swirly print to size.as the background and this was attached to the bases.

I then chose a stamp form Diane Reavesley and stamped this as shown in Versafine black, I added a swirly corner in the same ink.

I then coloured some elements of the stamp with Posca pen and added some silver dots to the background. Each Twinchie was edged in black ink to finish ....

Chequers ......


A set of  6 Inchies made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were punched to 1 x 1 inch from re-cycled food packaging. I then stamped some printed paper with a formulas stamp (IndigoBlu) in Versafine black ink and punched this as before and applied to each of the bases.

Next I chose some mauve card and stamped this with a chequers stamp (Aall & Create) and cut to .5 x.5 inch, edging in black ink and applying to the centre of the printed background. I then added a iridescent mauve pearl cabochon to the centre of each.

The Inchies were finished by edging in pink Posca pen .....

Black & White .......


 An ATC & holder made for a swap over on the 'Crafty Individuals Facebook Group' in the theme of Black & White .......

The base was cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then trimmed some white card to the same size and coloured this with a blending tool and Black Soot Distress ink to form a sky. I sprinkled this with water drops and removed the water with some kitchen towel. I then used a stamp from Crafty Individuals (CI-565) and stamped on the background in Versafine black ink which was then heat embossed. I added a strip of Washi tape to ground the animals.

I then used a circle mask and added more Black Soot Distresss in with a blending brush to add a sun (or moon) to the card. I also drew on three birds in flight.

I then added the background to the base and finished by adding black squares around the edge of the card with black Micron pen to finish.

The holder was made using Tim Holtz dies and black card ..... hope the recipient likes it !

Inspire ......


Made a Decorated Tag for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum .......

I made the base from some watercolour card which I treated with watercolour washes in red, yellow and after drying added some metallic gold and opalescent spatters. Cutting to shape and layering onto some cream card for strength.

I then selected some stamps from AAll&Create and stamped some patterns in red, mustard and grey Verafine Clair inks.

I stamped the main stamp in red Versafine Clair on the tag

I also stamped this again in Versafine black on white card and heat embossed this with clear embossing powder. I trimmed out the words from this and applied on foam pads over the original image.

I edged the tag in Inktense grey pencil and applied some water with a brush to activate and spread the colour.

I then added some torn Washi tape from AAll&Create as shown along with three red glossy dots. Finally I added a gold eyelet and threaded through with a gold sparkly ribbon .....

Black & White ......


 I made a set of Artist Trading Cards for a monthly swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Black & White' .....

The bases were cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some monochrome floral print paper and trimmed to size.

I used a stencil and applied a grid to the left with a blending brush and Black Soot Distress ink.

I then die-cut some smaller rounded-edge panels from black card, stamped these with a small floral stamp in Versamark ink and heat embossed with white embossing powder.

I then added the background to the bases and applied a piece of black numbers Washi tape centrally to each. The black panels were then added as shown. I then embellished the cards with a black shiny dot and a sparkly black cabochon.

Final touch was to add a border in black ink to each card ........

Wings ......


 A set of Artist Trading Coins made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inches diameter from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some printed paper with glitter designs and die-cut this to fit. the papers were applied to the bases.

I then stamped some cloudy images in black Versafine ink. Next I applied some iridescent glitter fabric wings to the bases as shown and added the printed letters (edging with metallic green Posca pen.

Next I chose a rubber stamp image of a phrenology head from 'A Stamp in the Hand'  and stamped this in black Memento ink on white card, heat embossing with clear embossing powder. The images were trimmed out and applied over the wings on foam pads.

Finishing touch was to add an edge with turquoise Posca pen ......

Eye, Eye, Eye .......

 


Made a set of Twinchies (2 x 2 inch decorated squares) for a monthly swap over in UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Blue, Green & Yellow'.....

The bases were cut to size from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some background papers and cut a green background along with a strip of blue. I added the papers to the Twinchie bases.

I chose some Washi tape (AAll & Create) and applied a strip at the top.

Next I cut some yellow printed paper down and stamped with an 'Eye' stamp (Stamp in the Hand) in blue Archival in edging the shapes in black Sharpie.. These were added as shown. I embellished the Twinchies with green & yellow self adhesive gems before edging with more black Sharpie to finish .......

Stars .....


A set of 6 inchies made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum .......

The bases were punched to 1 x 1 inch from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some green/blue  iridescent foiled paper and punched this to the same size applying to the bases.

I then chose a star stamp and stamped the stars onto the foiled surface with purple Stazon Ink.

Each Inchie was embellished with a self adhesive turquoise glittery rose in the centre. I added a dot to each star centre and edged each Inchie with yellow Posca pen to finish.

Hattie ........

 


This is an ATC made for a monthly ATC swap over on Crafty Individuals Facebook Group where this months swap theme was 'Christmas' .....

The base was cut from re-cycled food packaging to 2.5 x 3.5 ins. I then chose some Crafty Individuals text background paper and trimmed this to the correct size. It was stamped with a holly stamp in green Archival ink. The background was then added to the background.

Next, I chose a stamp from Craft Individuals called 'Where did the sun Go ? - CI- 569. I stamped this on white card with Memento black ink. I then trimmed out the image of the bird with scarf and coloured this with Distress ink washes in green and brown. drying with a heat gun. I then chose the hat and bobble from the other image on the stamp and trimmed out colouring with Copic markers in green and red.

The scarf was coloured in the same Copics and the image embellished with Glossy Accents. Once dry I applied the image to the card and then applied the hat on foam pads.

I added some red pearl drops onto the background holly, finishing the card by edging with red and green Posca pens.

I die-cut the cover (Tim Holtz) with an aperture and stamped again with the holly and green Archival ink, adding some more red pearl drops before assembling the cover.

Hopefully my swap partner will like the card ...... I really enjoyed making it !
