Birdies......

A set of Twinchies made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum in the colour theme of 'Orange, Red & Pink' .....

I cut 4 backs to 2 x 2 inches square from re-cycled food packaging. I then coloured some watercolour card with colour sprays in the colours, drying with a heat gun before cutting to 2 x 2 inches.

Each of these is stamped centrally with a birdie stamp in Versafine black ink and were sectively coloured with Posca pens. The backgrounds were applied to the backs  and each Twinchie was edged with black squares from Posca pen .....

Vintage .......


A set of Inchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

I punched the bases to 1 x 1 inch square from re-cycled packaging. I then chose some patterned paper and punched to the same size. These was stamped with a few colours of Archival ink with a dotty stamp and applied to the bases.

The images were taken from 'Paper Dolls' by Tim Holtz which have been trimmed to fit the Inchies, edged with black and applied on the patterned paper. Each Inchie was then edged with black ink to finish .....

Bling ......

 

A set of Twinchies made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Gems Galore' ....

The bases were cut to 2 x 2 inches square from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some printed paper and cut this to the same size. This was then stamped witha flower stems stamp in black Versamark ink and then added to the bases.....

I then added some adhesive gems to the flowerheads and some dimensional colour paste, enhancing the stems with green metallic Posca marker and added a black & gold pastel gem to each as shown.

The edges of the Twinchies were treated with purple Versamagic chalk ink and dots of more metallic Posca added to finish .....

Pink .......


A set of Artist Trading Coins made for  a swap over on UK Stampers Forum ......

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inches in diameter from re-cycled food packaging. I then took some pink  printed paper with white spots and die-cut this to the same size. The papers were stamped with a flower in green Versafine Clair ink before adding to the bases.

I then added a gilded butterfly and flower to each Coin along with 2 clear green adhesive circles whilst the centres of the flowers were embellished with white enamel.

Each Coin was then edged in metallic gold pen to finish .......

Abstract .....


A set of 'Inchies' made for a swap over on UK stampers Forum .....

I took a piece of white card and used a square foam stamp and various colours of Distress Oxide inks to produce a background of overlapping squares. Once set I then used a 1 x 1 inch punch and punched six pieces.

I added a piece of Card Candi on a foam pad to each as shown and stamped a design in black Versafine ink onto each. The backgrounds were then added to bases made from re-cycled food packaging.

Each Inchie was edged with metallic gold pen and six small adhesive gems were added to finish them ....

Collage ......


A decorated Tag made for a swap over in UK Stampers Forum ......

I decided on doing a collage style tag in bright colours. I used various printed papers which were trimmed and collaged onto a white card blank. I also included rub-ons, stamping and adhesive gems.

Once complete I edged the tag with black ink and used the crop-a-dile to apply an eyelet threaded through with plum coloured satin ribbon.

The tag was finished with the words 'Written Story', matted on black card and added on foam pads to raise slightly ......

Cocktails ......


A set of three Artist Trading Cards made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Food & Drink' ....

The bases were cut to 2.5 x 3.5 inches from re-cycled food packaging and I chose some background papers and applied as shown to the backgrounds.

I decided on a drink theme and chose a set of Stampers Anonymous stamps from Tim Holtz. These were stamped in black Memento ink onto white card which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder before trimming out. They were coloured with Copic alcohol ink markers and applied onto the bases. I then added some Glossy Accents to highlight various things on each.

The ATC's were finished by edging with Versamagic chalk ink to finish .....

Bunnie .......


A set of 4 'Twinchies' made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum in the theme of 'Pets'  ......

I first cut the bases from re-cycled food packaging to 2 x 2 inches square. I then chose some printed paper and cut this to the same size applying onto the bases.

I then added a strip of numbers Washi tape to the base of each to ground the 'Bunnies'. I added stamped images in red Versafine Clair ink.

I then chose a fun image of a bunny and stamped this on white card in Versafine black ink adding some colour to ears and whiskers with Posca pen. They were then trimmed out and subsequently added the the bases as shown.

The Twinchies were finished by edging in Pink Posca pen and adding some pink Stickles to the circles ....

Flight .......


A set of Artist Trading Coins made for a swap over on UK Stampers Forum .....

The bases were die-cut to 2.5 inches in diameter from re-cycled food packaging. I then chose some chequered printed paper and die-cut this in the same way to fit the bases.

I then stamped a bird silhouette stamp centrally in black Versafine ink. The birds were treated to a coat of Glossy Accents to add depth.

I then used violet, red and plum Archival inks and a variety of background stamps to add some design & colour to the backgrounds. I then added some half flowers to decorate and three pink self-adhesive gems to each Coin. They were finished by edging with Versamagic chalk ink in Violet ....
