Gatherings ......

Made a clean & simple card .....

I started with a 5 x 5 inch white cardblank ......

I then die-cut a pale blue matt and a smaller white matt which I applied to the card blank as shown. I then stamped the girl, flowers and ground in Memento black ink and coloured these with Copic markers adding some white Posca pen and glossy accents. The girl was added onto the ground on foam pads and the flowers added directly to the card. The sentiment was stamped on white card in Versafine black ink, trimmed and matted on blue card before trimmimg and applying on foam pads to finish.

All stamps used by AAll & Create .....

Love clean looking cards .....

Wonderland .......

Made a concertina tag book using Octopode Factory digis

The tag base was cut cut from pale green cardstock and scored to form a concertina. Holes were punched with the crop-a-dile. I then selected a range of printed papers as the bases. and stamped, coloured and punched decorations onto each of the six panels. some dew-drops were added along with metallic pens and Posca markers.

The main images were printed onto cardstock and coloured with Copic markers, trimmed out and further decorated with a range of embellishments including Stickles glitter glue & Glossy Accents. They were mounted on foam pads as show in the photos. I then stapled some black & white spotty ribbon through the holes in the tags.

I would like to enter this into the May Country View Challenge Blogs Challenge whose theme is 'Tea Party'

Heartfelt ....

Nobody wants to have to send one of these cards......

I made this on a 4 x 6 inch white cardblank...... I cut some watercolour card and coloured this with pinks, ambers & greys watercolours. Once dry I stamped a Wildflower stamp (Tim Holtz) in Archival black ink and then matted this onto black card which in turn was applied to the card blank.

I stamped the sentiment 'With heartfelt condolences' in Versafine black ink on white card. Trimmed and mounted on more black card before applying on foam pads as shown to finish ....

Simple whilst being tasteful ......

Take Flight .....

Made a card ..... starting with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank........

I made a background with Gelatos on a piece of white card treated with white Gesso... using water and my fingers. This was dried. I then used a chevron stencil and removed some of the colour with a baby wipe through it. I then sealed the colours with a coat of acrylic sealer.

I then stamped with a few stamps (PaperArtsy)  in Archival ink  colours and stamped a bird in Archival sepia ink. This was trimmed out and embellished with some white Posca pen. The bird was applied on foam pads & grounded on torn Washi tape.

The sentiment was stamped and mounted on brown card and again applied on foam pads and the whole piece mounted on more brown card and attached to the white card blank on more foam pads.

Dream ......

Made a collaged card today .....

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller piece of watercolour card and coloured this with watercolours to form the background. Once dry this was mounted onto black card to form a border and was stamped in black Versafine ink as shown. I also stamped the same image on white card in more Versafine black ink from which I trimmed out certain elements which were coloured with watercolour brushpens. These were mounted on foam pads to highlight certain elements. Some arrows were stamped in various Archival ink colours.

The Fornasetti face (Cherry Pie) was stamped in Memento black ink and coloured with Copic markers before trimming out, applying some Glossy Accents on her eyes, and applying on more foam pads

I stamped the words 'Dream, Create & Inspire' in Versafine black ink, trimmed these out and matted on more black card and stuck in place. I added a small piece of Washi tape reading 'Like A Boss' on the top right. The finishing touches were added with adhesive pearls, gloss dots, wire, Posca pen and Stickles glitter glue to finish.

Really had a great time developing the collage ....

Dotty .....

Made this card for a Challenge at the Less is More Blog whose Challenge No. 420 is 'Going Dotty' ...

I used a white 5 x 5 inch cardblank as the base. I die-cut a circle from card and used this as a mask through which I applied a number of coloured dots with some round ended markers. Once the mask was removed I stamped the sentiment 'Sending Our Love' in black Versafine ink to finish.

Pink .....

Recently made a male version of this card so decided to do a feminine version .....

Went for pink instead of brown this time as I know Doc Martin does a pink version of their boots .....

I started with a 5 x 5 inch white card blank and die-cut a white circle which I edged in pink Colorbox chalk ink. Onto the circle I stamped a set of footprints ( Art Journey) in pink Archival ink. I applied a strip of pink Washi tape across the cardblank and adhered the circle as shown.

The boots (Art Journey) were stamped in more pink Archival ink and trimmed out. I used a Posca pen on the laces and a black micron pen to add some eyelets and treated with some Glossy accents. The sentiment (Art Journey) was also stamped on white card with pink Archival ink, trimmed and edged with chalk ink and the OO's coloured in Posca. The boots and sentiment were applied on foam pads and three black sequins were added to finish the card ....

Ballerina .....

This card was inspired by one made by Godelieve Tijskens - Stamping Mathilda ......

I started with a 5 x 7 inch white card blank. I then cut a smaller piece of white card and put this through an embossing folder treated with black soot Distress Oxide. I then used a text stamp and Versafine black ink to overstamp the embossed panel.

The panel was then matted on black card and applied to the card front. Next I stamped a Ballerina in more black Versafine ink and die-cut this with a round stitched edge die. I then added three black sequins with Glossy Accents. This was mounted on foam pads and the circle applied as shown.

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine on white card, trimmed and matted on black card before mounting on foam pads as shown.

Love the monochrome look and it's a long time since I coloured with an embossing folder !

Because ......

We are running a 'Single Colour Distress Ink' Challenge over on UK Stampers Forum...... where you are allowed to use only one colour of Distress Ink in a project..... I chose 'Rusty Hinge' and made a card....

I started with a white 5 x 5 inch white card blank and cut a smaller matt in white card. The white matt was then stamped with a Wildflower stamp (Tim Holtz) three times in Rusty Hinge Distress ink. I then masked off the edges of the matt and applied more  Distress ink using a waterbrush and the same ink. I also applied some less diluted ink to the flowers.

Finally I stamped the words 'Just Because' on white card...again applying on foam pads. The matt was then applied on more foam pads to the card blank to finish.

Love the colour .......
