Garden of Dreams .....

Here is a bright and cheery tag made for a Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group.

I made a Brusho background using yellow & orange on watercolour paper.  This was trimmed to size and decorated with bold floral stamps from PaperArtsy designed by Lin brown using Memento dye inks.

The flowers and leaves were diecut from various decorated 6 x 6 papers and assmbled as shown with crystal centres.  A white Posca pen was used to highlight leaf veins and flower centres.  The words were stamped in Versamark and heat embossed with detail black embossing powder.  The tag was edged in red Memento in and a squiggly border added with a fine black Micron pen.

Finishing touch was to add a brad with the Cropadile and tie through with some green decorative fibres.

Floral Inchies .....

Watery Postcard ......

Here is a postcard made for a Swap this month over on the UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group. The theme this month is 'Sea & Sand'.

I cut a piece of watercolour paper to 6 x 4 inches and wet this thoroughly, then sprinkled a selection of blue, green and violet Brushos onto the wet surface.  Further spraying was done to dissolve and distribute the colours until happy, when it was dried with a heat gun.

The decoration and sentiment have been stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with various embossing powders with a few stamped in Archival black Ink.  Some colouring with Posca pen and Sakura gels added to finish.

The whole thing was reinforced by sticking to white card and the whole card edged with dark blue chalk ink to finish.

Some ATC's ....

Numbers Postcard ......

Here is a postcard made for a Swap over on UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group !

I started with a 6 x 4 white card base and used a stencil through which I inked with numerous colours of Versamagic chalk inks.

The black & white border was then added with Posca markers.  I then stamped the numbers (PaperArtsy) in black Versafine ink and added the printed words as shown, highlighting the number one in Red Posca !

I added another layer of card to strengthen the postcard and sprayed with matt acrylic lacquer to protect through the postal system as they are sent 'naked' !

'Mingo Tag .....

It's been a while since I posted, or crafted even !  This tag was made for a monthly decorated tag swap over on the UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group.

I used mainly diecuts to make it.  I started with white card and cut two stitched edge matts.  Onto the first matt I applied Distress Stains in tattered rose as splats direct from the stain.  I dried these splats with the heat gun.

I then stamped the word 'Joy' in black Versafine ink as shown.

The Mingo was diec ut from pink card with its wing from some spotty paper.  The wing was applied and the spots centred with white Posca pen.  The bird was then stuck in place over to the right of the matt.

I used a Cropadile to punch a hole in the larger matt and apply a silver eyelet through wich I tied some pink fibres and pale pink spotty organza ribbon.

I then added three pink pearl cabochons as shown to finish the Tag !

Heartfelt Thanks .....

Made a very simple 'Thankyou' card on a Kraft card base.

I took a 4 x 4 inch square Kraft Card base and diecut a matt in patterned paper with a stitched edge die.  this was applied centrally to the card base.

I then diecut a tag in white card and into this diecut out a butterfly.  The sentiment (Inkadinkado) was stamped as shown in black Archival ink and the matt placed on foam pads to finish.

Heart Scribbles ....

Here is another card in the 'Love' series, this time with black and on a square card !

I took a 5 x 5 inch white card base and diecut a slightly smaller matt with a stitched edge die. Working on this matt I added three hand drawn squiggly lines with a white Signo pen.

I then hand cut three hearts from patterned paper and added scribbles around them with a black Micron pen before adhering over the lines on foam pads. The matt was applied to the card on foam pads. I added some pink and lime green self adhesive pearls to decorate.

The sentiment was diecut from white card and added as shown to finish the card.

Think that this looks really elegant with the black background !  This card is available to buy in my Etsy Store .... do have a look

Sharing a 'Home' card made recently !

I started with a 4 x 4 inch white card blank and diecut two  matts, one in blue and one in white.  I then stamped the houses in black Memento ink onto the white matt and also stamped a 'spare' set on some more white card from which I trimmed out one of the houses and coloured with Copic  markers before overlaying on foam pads

The sentiment was stamped in Versafine onyx black ink, trimmed and matted on blue card before mounting on more foam pads.
