Zebras.....

Made a Zebra greetings card ......

I started with a 6 x 6 inch white card base. I made a die-cut background with inks and stencils in pastel pinks & greens on white card. I then made a masterboard with green inks and die-cut a number of leaves from this. This background was trimmed and edged with green Versamagic chalk ink and matted on a piece of green card which in turn was edged in dark pink chalk ink. A few leaves were stamped in green chalk ink onto the background and the die-cut leaves added as shown.

The two Zebras (My Favourite Things) were stamped in Archival black ink and trimmed out. I coloured the ears with a pink Posca Marker.

I then applied foam pads to the zebras and placed them as shown, grounding with grey ink lines.

The sentiment ' You're My Zebra' was stamped in Versafine black ink on white card, trimmed and added on more foam pads.

The card was finished by applying the matts onto the card base !

I want to enter this card into the Country View Crafts April Challenge whose theme is 'Animal Magic'
