Wish Upon A Star ......

I designed a card which won a prize with the Less is More Blog Challenge recently so I set about and made 3 more on the same theme.  I made them with the technique described on my post HERE .

All are on 5 x 5 inch white square card bases.  This first one uses Washi Tape from We R Memory Keepers in a blue/green colourway.

The second one uses some pearlised tape (not sure of where I bought it).

The last uses more pearlised tape in lilac but interspersed with some TH Tissue tape from Ranger.

Of course I had to use the word 'Wish' .......... upon a star !

I think the last one is too fussy to show the raised star, but I like the first one most !  What do you think?

  8. I actually love all three, they are all different and great way to use the tape. I am always buying washi tape and then never ever know where from! Die cutting the star and off setting it is fabulous. Great work on these cards.

  10. Sid! Your comment on my City Crafters' cards was the first thing I read this morning and talk about bringing a smile to my face! THANK YOU! I'm thrilled that you've decided to follow me and after a stroll through your site (talk about WOW cards!!), I'm adding you to my Feedly (more reliable, I've discovered...), so I can see every delight you create. The trio here: oh my stars *grin*! A marvelous way to use tape (you obviously have quite the fantastic collection!) with results that are outstanding. Choosing a favourite...hmmm..nope, can't. They're all wonderful in their own way. Your pink sparkles shaker cards in your previous post are outstanding! Pink perfection! Your Inchies of Gratitude: let's just say this...winner, winner! Wishing you a marvelous Tuesday; as marvelous as you've made mine!

  13. I love the three variations using washi tape Sid and the stitched star is perfect with it and it works so well twisting the cut out star on the top and with the little extra star which you have die cut out of the middle. I think my favourite is the last one as the print looks wonderful with that plain purple card.
