I have entitled this card in line with the Less Is More Challenge for week 191 whose theme this week is 'Mostly Words'.
The stamps that came to mind and are by Stampers Anonymous by Tim Holtz (Urban Chic) and I had never used these two stamps together. Often words are more important than pictures in our lives but the two together can hold more meaning too ! I thought that these two stamps were ideal in depicting this.
I started with a 4.5 x 4.5 inch white card blank. I used Marvey Embossing Pens to selectively colour the heart stamp which was then stamped and heat embossed with detail clear embossing powder, heated from below with a heat gun.
The subtle shine provided by the embossing is captured on the pic above and this also enlivens the colours too. I then stamped the words in Archival black ink.
Finishing touches were to add 4 self adhesive gems to the ribbon garland on the heart and I drew a couple of corners onto the card to frame it with a fine black Micron pen.
