Flamingo Birthday ......

Good Monday Morning to you all  & hope your day is brilliant !!  Made this very pink Birthday card the other day .....

I used a C6 white card blank and cut a matt out of pink card.  Onto the matt I attached a die-cut oblong in white card and applied a die-cut flamingo which I had coloured with Copics. 

The banner at the bottom was made by layering dark pink recycled packaging, white card and flamingo Washi tape and applying a die-cut heart garland.  The heart was attached onto the flamingo matt and glittered with Stickles glitter glue.

I applied a vertical strip of the dark pink card and stamped the sentiment 'HAPPY BIRTHDAY' onto white card which again was die-cut and matted as shown on foam pads.  The pink matt was then attached to the card blank on foam pads to finish.

Monster Birthday .....

Kids love alien monsters !!!  I made this Birthday card with  kids in mind !

I started with a white square card blank and die-cut a smaller white matt. Into this I diecut a shaped aperture.  Into this I applied a Brusho background to represent the sky.  I drew and coloured a mountain range centrally on the background and placed three brightly hand-coloured alien monsters on foam pads.  They have glittery eyes !  A planet was also put in the background sky.  I drew some white dots and silver stars into the sky.

The hand-stamped sentiment reads 'Have a Monster Birthday' and was stamped in Archival black and matted on the same blue background.

Cute & monstrous too !!

Cloudy Bunnies ......

Made an Easter Bunnies folding Boxcard ....

The box was made out of blue card which was diecut and decorated with printed paper panels with stripes and bunting.

The bunnies were stamped, die-cut and coloured with Copic markers along with the clouds which were glittered with Stickles glitter glue.

The 3D box was filled with the bunnies and the clouds mounted on acetate so they seem to float. I used some pink self-adhesive pearls to decorate and the fun hand-stamped sentiment reads ' Hoppy Easter'

World Traveller ......

This tag was made for a monthly Swap over on the UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group .....

I started with a manilla tag and used Distress inks to make a background.  I used mainly blue inks applied to a glass mat and sprayed with water.  I built up some layers (drying in between with a heat tool) and then applied more water drops until happy.

I then stamped an image in Archival black ink as shown.  I sprayed with a gold mica spray leaving some larger pools of spray to dry.  I used a black decorative rub-on at the top right.

The butterfly was die-cut, painted with turquoise metallic paint, decorated with gold Stickles Glitter Glue, and applied on a glue dot leaving the wings free. I then added an gold metal plate centrally with the words 'Travel The World'. The tag was edged in blue Versamagic chalk ink.

Finally I added a piece of gold woven ribbon held in place with a staple.

Rosette Tag .....

Here is a tag made for a Monthly swap over at the UK Stampers Forum Facebook Group.....

I started with a white card base and coloured this with Worn Lipstick Distress Ink by applying the ink from the pad to a glass mat and spraying with water them smooshing in layers on the tag and drying in between smooshes to build up the colour.

I then used a Tim Holtz (Sizzix) rosette die to make the rosette from some patterned paper edged with violet Veramagic ink.  I also die-cut a couple of seed head dies in more white card.  These were coloured with more Worn Lipstick DI and layered with brown Memento and violet Versamagic inks before adding some Stickles glitter glue.

I used the same inks, along with Archival black on various stamps to add the design.  The word 'Shine' was stamped in magenta Memento ink with a Paperartsy stamp.

I assembled the tag and finished with a length of thin velvet ribbon attached with coloured staples.

The whole tag was edged with more violet Versamagic ink to finish.
