Birdy .....

Made an ATC to trade .....

The background is made of watercolour card coloured with watercolours & water. This is overstamped with a black chevron stamp (Crafty Individuals) which is heat embossed with clear embossing powder.

I then added maroon torn ashi tape to frame. The birdie (Tim Holtz) was stamped on more watercolour card and coloured with Inktense pencils and a waterbrush with some added white Posca pen before trimming out. The bird was added as shown.

A piece of metallic diecut was added for sparkle behind the bird.

I finished the card by adding some lines of white Posca, adhesive words (matted on black card) and edging with magenta Versamagic chalk ink .....

The twinchies were centred  with champagne sparkle cabochon and edged with purple Versamagic chalk ink to finish ......

Summer ......

Made an ATC & sleeve for a swap over on Crafty Individuals Facebook page in the theme of 'Summer' ...

I started with a base made from re-cycled food packaging and cut this to 2.5 x 3.5. I next selected a spin'n'splash techniques background which had been coloured with alcohol inks on white glossy card and trimmed to fit the base.

I then stamped the background with a grungy diamond stamp (CI-171) in black Versafine ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I next chose another stamp (CI-602) and again stamped in black Versafine ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. I selectively cut out just the flower outlines from this. They were coloured with Distress Ink washes.

The background was added to the base and a torn strip of Washi tape added at the bottom of the ATC. I used a corner rounder to shape the edges.

The coloured flowers were added to the background as shown. The word was stamped in black on white card and coloured with Distress ink wash before trimming out. It was added as shown.

The ATC was edged with Versamark ink and heat embossed with red embossing powder from Ranger. I finished the flowers with Glossy Accents to add a shin .......

I made a die-cut envelope with an aperture from Kraft paper and backed this with another stamped and coloured image of flowers .....

Fishy .......

Made a shaped card for a Challenge over at Crafty Individuals Facebook Group .....

I chose a die and cut two of the shapes in white card. I re-attached the central cut-out to the back portion. I covered the front cut-out with a piece of iridescent blue/green foiled paper.

I then chose the seaweed and fish stamps from Crafty Individuals (CI- 589) and stamped these in black Versafine ink which was heat embossed with clear embossing powder. The images were trimmed out and coloured with Copic markers.

I took the words (CI-588) and again stamped in Versafine black which was heat embossed and trimmed out.

I then assembled the front of the card by adding the foiled centre and the elements .... the fish was added on foam pads. The card front and back were hinged together internally with white Washi Tape.

Finishing touches were to add some 'bubbles' from the fishes mouth with blue faceted self-adhesive gems.....
